This pedal is perfect for the players who uses one tone most of the time. Pros The sound is, frankly, amazing. You have access to an ludicrous amount of the best tones ever heard. Amps and pedals we could never afford or get access to. I'm using a Dumble for my clean sounds... It's a recording interface. You get free software for recording...lot's of it. Plug ins, tone editing, Amplitude...great for computer recording. It's a headphone practice amp. It literally fits in your pocket. It's under $200. Cons Software is a PITA. It's required, and you have to install an IK 'manager'. The interface is OK. Personally, I want nothing to do with micromanaging the tones. It's overwhelming. Total option anxiety. (You don't have to use it. Just put what you want into the pedal and you're done. The sounds are so good you won't need to tweak them on the computer. ) It's small....really small. The knobs are tiny so if you have big fingers it'll be annoying or impossible to adjust. it's lightweight so it moves if it's not attached to something. For me it's a the perfect addition to my rig.

Is there something I need to do with the software to get it to power up with the 9 v DC plug. This is the second one I have received from Amazon and can't get mine to power up from the jack. I've tried 2 zoom 300 ma, 9 volt DC center negative supplies and a realistic 300 ma, 9 volt DC supply all which works with my stomp pedals. Thanks

Full Tone Models include cabinets (there are also direct without cabinets) and you can use custom IRs if you wish, too.

can someone enlighten me ? let's say that you have a fairly decent amp but you want to get a Fender Deluxe Reverb tone out of it... So, you would plug this pedal (with the cab bypassed) into the input of your amp and that's it?

Ideally, for that scenario, you’d want to plug this into the Return of your amp’s effects loop, otherwise you’re doubling amps which isn’t desirable. You can also plug it directly into a power amp like the Seymour Duncan Powerstage, which would be powering a guitar or bass cabinet.

You would use their loop and put the TONEX ONE in the amp block.
