is it ok to have scalloped tongue at rest but only where the tongue and pre-molars meet? I just started trying to correct my tongue positioning

Scalloping of the tongue can be a symptom of tongue thrusting but it is not a differential diagnosis. It just indicates that your tongue is pushing against the teeth at that position. It could also indicate that you might have a small arch in that area. Without a full diagnosis from a professional, it is hard to say that you have incorrect tongue position from the scalloping of the tongue.

Ahhh crap my tongue slightly touches the teeth because I mouth breathed for about 2 years, then was relearn tongue posture. But now my tongue is scalloped. What do I do about the scalloping?

It is ok for tongue to be scalloping a little. However, if your tongue is scalloping all the time even during resting position, then most likely you are tongue thrusting (most likely posteriorly!)
