Yes, Tonya IMHO definitely DIDN'T deserve being humiliated like this (very likely by Jeff Gillooly himself selling the Video without her Knowledge). Regarding her role in the assault: She may not have a totally clean slate (by taking the very vague Statements she overheard beforehand (not definite enough to got to the Police with, or to the USFSA People who didn't like Tonya anyway) not seriously and by not coming Forward immediately with the Information after she learned who was behind the assault. But the "hard"evidence against Tonya (About having actively planned the assault) is actually rather shaky. She was abused as a child and by Jeff Gillooly and yes, as jj writes, the Thing with the sold Video humiliated her and made her a victim as well. Don't get me wrong, the attack on Nancy Kerrigan never should have happened, but what happened to Tonya shouldn't have happened either. Not everything is black or White - There are many shades of Grey in the whole Story.

The more I get to know about her story, wow this woman is so strong! Whatever involvement she had in that incident, she did pay for it. The only thing that she was passionate about, and worked hard all her life for was taken away from her. It’s sad cause she was great at skating, and you don’t get that good without dedication and hard work. All taken away, that was her punishment. Considering if she was actually guilty, she already paid so much for it. She was young and people do make mistakes (not an excuse), it’s how you move on from that. On top of that she was abused mentally, physically, sexually by the same people who should’ve loved and supported her (again, not saying this as an excuse for her alleged actions) but wow most would’ve just given up. Then after all of that, she gets beat down more, a sex tape being released without her consent.. I’d just want to die, I wouldn’t be able to take it if I were her. But those things make me more amazed about Tonya, more than her great talent in skating. She’s tough, strong, and vulnerable. Beautiful! I wish her all the best!

So degrading. My God, what a whole lot of sad for this woman. I'd want to just give up! It's hard to believe that she new anything prior to getting back to Portland with all the interviews and such, she's always consistent. I'm sure she kept silent because she was mortified and thought if she spoke she'd lose everything, plus she said she was afraid of Jeff. The USFSA should never have encouraged her go back to Jeff G. after their divorce. Sad, sad, sad. And then, the mother! Well...nothing needs to be said there...This Penthouse guy is slime.

Jeff Gillooly, who (99% likely) sold the Video without Tonya's Knowledge or Bob Guccione (the Penthouse founder/Editor)? The latter died in 2010 and I'm sure he didn't regret publishing the Video.

Interviewer is playing dumb, so if there are some news about a fatal accident, she wont report it? wouldnt she go to any extend to have the exclusive? she will do it because is her job, and she will not have second thoughts about it, she is either hypocritical or stupid or both, she is expressing sympathy towards an individual who conspired to inflict bodily injury to a totally innocent victim, here is a thought, what goes around comes around.

No, the interviewer just has a conscience, in contrary to the Penthouse Editor. It has Nothing to do with being stupid. About Tonya actively conspiring to hurt Nancy Kerrigan: The "hard" evidence against Tonya Harding is actually quite shaky.
