Yes. That intereaction and her corresponding facial expression has always struck me too as the salient moment within a scene brimming with first-class acting (by the phantoms of Jimmy Tuffi and Dicky Multisante) and very strong supportive work by Tony and Carm).

"Carmella won that argument. Right at the end." Getting the last word or making a criticism the other side can't refute isn't "winning". Because they're married, there is no winning at all. Like the hole Tony punched in the wall, that's not a "win" for anybody, you just have to live in a slightly worse house (or marriage) until you fix that.

I like how Tony equates Carmella have fantasies about Furio & talking to him with his behavior - sleeping with dozens of goomars, strippers, etc. Such sociopath

Tony has a point. Carmela knew what kind of business was Tony into but she still denied all of that as long the money flowed. They' re both hypocrites but Carmela it's a little more

these two always seemed like they're legit married somehow they probably were friends outside of the show and that helped them seeming connected to each other when they were acting

Carmela one of the biggest hypocrites in this scene/series complains about Tony's affairs yet thinks about starting an affair with 3 guys in the series, She also says she fell in love with Furio but goes off with Tony's affair. Carmella and Tony are not what I would call a healthy marriage or match made in heaven.

The season 4 finale argument's one of my favorite scenes in the show, and while this one isn't *as* good as that one (Still fucking great.) Both James and Edie get their share of the spotlight here, while Edie absolutely stole the show in the finale. Both James and Edie are on another fucking level here.

The thing that pissed Tony off really, was the idea that she loved Furio. Sex? That's just attraction. But love? That's a lot more.
