The way Tony said 'poor you,' just like his mother used to, is a perfect little detail that indicates how much of his mother's behavior he actually inherited as he aged

Yes. That intereaction and her corresponding facial expression has always struck me too as the salient moment within a scene brimming with first-class acting (by the phantoms of Jimmy Tuffi and Dicky Multisante) and very strong supportive work by Tony and Carm).

people give so much shit to Carmela but she was in love with Furio and was always really hesitant to make a move with him even though she knew Tony is constantly banging different people all the time she wasn't exactly a good person obviously and she was really greedy and a hypocrite like all the other characters but it's surprising that she gets so much shit when almost all the other characters were way worse there's a reason Tony never wanted to divorce her, like Melfi said "she might leave you but you'll never leave her."
@immanuelcunt72962 жыл бұрын
She didn't make a move because she wanted him to, because she's a woman. Her getting dressed up, flirting, and engaging furio all the time WAS her way of making a move. Plus, the only reason she was hesitant is because she was scared of Tony. That's not morality, it's cowardice.
