10:58 oh man you sound just like me. So many people here put their bikes in the car to go for a ride? I’m like, just ride from your house? 🤷🏻‍♂️ My solution was always get up early or ride to your job if you don’t have time. But often the same people who say that got time for Netflix or driving to a Gym to ride on an indoor bike. 🤣

I had a triathlete push me on a bike service every day until it was finished. (Lots of work was needed) Anyway after I finished it and sent the Bill it took him 9 months to collect. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Oh and before anyone says “you should have sold it for the cost of the service.” I don’t have that policy because in a small country where I live if you did stuff like that it would obliterate your reputation and business. So we are forced to put up with it.

@@reginaldscot165 it’s really a big problem here. I usually collect some of the fees up front for large projects or special order parts which helps. We do have lots of bikes abandoned in shops here, so we have a policy whereby if you don’t make arrangements or at least let us know, you have 90 days to collect or we can dispose/donate your bike. Every customer is informed when they drop off their bike.

Next time try boiling water on the seatpost/tube, it’s worked every time for me with surprisingly good results. 🙂

*Top Tip* Don’t buy normal clothes. Only buy cycling kit. That way ever minute of every day you are ready to ride at any time when you have a free hour. Big brain 🧠 moves. 😎
