Too Much Tech In Cars!

All our cars are older, really pre-tech. Our newest is from 2011, long before tech really took off in vehicles to a level where they're really computers on wheels now. So I challenged Amy to figure out the tech in a brand new Ford Edge. She's tech-challenged - but did GREAT!

this is hilarious. By the way, my Ford Mach-e has similar functionality. I prefer the controls in my SC400 and our departed LS430. But not having to pay $100 per week in fuel is fantastic.

Wouldn't have that car if you gave it to me. I'm going to see a Lexus LS430 tomorrow, maybe it'll be the one (but I'm still hoping to find a GS 400/430!)

It doesn't have an actual emergency brake - totally unsafe.

The Bronco Sport is an Escape with a boxy body. Both of them have many recalls for transmission, engine and even fires. Don't buy it. The Edge is an old school design dating back to 2005 or so when Ford owned Volvo. Much of the AWD system on the Edge is lifted from Volvo - not sure if they switched to their own transmission though. The Edge is on it's way out, the Escape is also ready for an overhaul, and the Bronco Sport is to keep up with the boxy design that all people seem to want today. I would stay away from Ford, Chrysler/Stellantis, GM, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Hyundai, and Kia. Stay with Toyota/Lexus or Honda, especially if that model is built in Japan.

Um i could not agree more these computerized technology is terrible it'd why I still drive a 1997 acura tl I still party like it's 1990
