So, you've finally purchased your SC Project Semi Complete Titanium Exhaust System for your V4 StreetFighter and debating if you should install it yourself.
Brace yourselves wrenchers. In this long awaited video, we install the SC Project Racing Titanium Exhausts on the 2020 Streetfighter V4 S. This installation is not for the faint of heart as it will challenge your stamina, wit and most of all, sanity. In my honest and personal experience, I must suggest on taking this to the dealer and have a certified mechanic handle the job. However, if you plan to tackle this yourself, having the motorcycle on a lift is highly suggested, along with making sure you have all the proper tools required. Also, the provided instructions are not as informative, therefore experience and intuition comes in handy for sure. With all that said, this video can be loosely followed when installing the SC Project Titanium Racing Exhausts. A lot of components, especially nuts and bolts were removed prior to installing, therefore working clean and organized will help your progress. After completing this, I must say, it was all worth it after hearing it’s first start up and an even greater feeling when riding the bike. I hope you found this video helpful and informative. As always, thank you for watching. We’ll see you on the next one.

Can any of you catch how many times my clothing changed during this install? LOL First thing first, this exhaust is absolutely amazing. The install requires an intensive amount of work and several specialty tools to safely complete the task. My recommendation is to have a certify technician/dealer do the work. Here are my top tips for all you brave guys out here. 1. Good intuition/Patience/Common sense 2. Motorcycle Lift 3. Gas tank must be removed to access LH heat shield 4. Torque Wrench 5. Loosen Rear Header Bolts to create slack 6. An Upmap is a must or tuned 7. Gas/Hoes Removal tool

I may have suggested Mike beforehand to have this done professionally to avoid any headaches he may encounter (and there were more than a few, trust me). He was so determined in getting this done for motorcycle enthusiasts, Ducati owners and everyone who may need help or information in getting this done themselves as well. So much work and time was put into producing this and it was so worth it! These exhausts sound amazing! 😍

In my personal opinion, It’s content like this that truly keeps these bikes alive. The attention to detail is next to none and the fact you didn’t cut any corners to get the job done quicker deserves applaud. The exhaust looks stunning and sounds exactly how one would expect something as mean looking as this machine to sound straight out of the factory. You also have a supportive wife who actually sounds, judging by her enthusiasm, like she loves you and your hobby which is wonderful man. Congratulations! Subbed. 👊🏼

Not gonna lie Mike seeing that smoke on the start up almost made me spit my drink out. 🤯 Hats off for doing this yourself cuz no way in hell would I ever have the patience. If I did, that shit will take me at least a month to complete lol. Also nice of your wife helping you out.

Patience is not even the word. As for the smoke, it's just the WD40 being burned off after cleaning the exhaust. Yeah man, lucky for A's support.

The dual under seat mufflers feels more like a racing thing to me, I think I'd rather do it on a more track oriented bike (Panigale V2/V4 ?). They do look good regardless though. I love these full mod videos, very helpful so thank you.

Nice exhaust, Like it better than my Arrow V2. BTW, your oil is way overfilled. Had that issue and leak from the cam cover developed. Should be middle of site gauge on a paddock stand, not the side stand
@ClutchFirst
@ClutchFirst 3 жыл бұрын
I 💯 agree! This is one of the best looking and sounding exhaust in the market. It’s a unique look for the StreetFighter. As for the oil, the bike was leaned over and possibly looked over filled. This is the original factory oil before I did my first service. The oil has been changed but I’ll check it. Thanks for the heads up.

@@ClutchFirst Remember: there is no such thing as a vegetarian snake! Thanks a VERY THOROUGH instructional video. I have 2021 Hypermotard 950 SP; I decided to go with SC-1 because I definitely want an exhaust mesh on the tail. Too bad SC doesn't attach meshes to carbon fiber, but it is what it is. I ordered them last week; Jacob is very helpful. It's going to be a Looooooong six+ weeks! Jacob did offer the ones you installed, but living in a high density very hilly city; I don't want to attract too much attention.

@ClutchFirst
@ClutchFirst 3 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm, maybe you did not watch the video all the way through. Every bolt was torque down before finishing. You can clearly see the wrench change when I torque each bolt down. I just didn't make that the priority for the video. It's a loose guide and your responsibility to make sure you do it on your own bike. Thank you for watching.

Hi! I'm going to purchase this exhaust for my Panigale V4. I'm just scared that it might be too loud for track checks... SC declares 106dB @5500rpm on the website, can anyone who has done checks tell me if it doesn't go higher? Thanks!

Every SC exhaust, I have installed, too loud. I loved the stock underbelly exhaust. Mufflers are ugly especially on the side of a bike. Mufflers should be hidden, underbelly. I like quiet. I recently bought a Tesla. Quiet is nice. People are tired of noise.
@ClutchFirst
@ClutchFirst 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. It’s fair to say that a choice of putting on an exhaust and unlocking your motorcycle’s true potential is not for everyone. This video is to help others decide whether it’s for them and the amount of work required to complete the task. As for being loud, even the OEM underbelly exhaust is still loud for a stock pipe, speaking from experience. Lastly, these exhausts will offer you a bit more power and performance and they are also Euro 5 compliant and comes standard with a welded DB Killer for those who want performance without being too loud.
