This is a system Ive been using ever since getting a work trailer setup. Having the security to feel ok leaving the trailer on locations or even at home during vacations is so much more relaxing than worrying the entire time if it will still be there. This system is so small it could be used in many creative ways for security. In the front box of dump trailers, hidden in cabinetry in your shop trailer, inside job boxes, systainers etc. so many places! Let me know what you use for job site security in the comments!

I’ve never turned the siren on whatsoever as it would defeat the primary line of defense for me which is them knowing it has an alarm on it. I believe they have an entirely new system coming out this year that will render this one obsolete and I’ll probably do a new video on that one with better in depth coverage. Thanks for watching

I have put Apple air tags in the ones I’m taking into commercial buildings with me. They track really well and locate based off of any apple device nearby so pretty decent for sure.

I could be wrong but wouldn't it be better to build a box around the base station or hide the actual unit so someone cant see it immediately when they walk in and smash the box to pieces? Just a thought....keep up the great content ( more festool !! HAHA)

Absolutely. I’d recommend that for sure. With as fast as it texts though. By the time you even saw the unit I’d know someone was in my trailer 😅 I need to do one with the new Kapex!

Is your trailer lettered or plain? I have seen quite a few which are advertising what is inside and the assumption is the bigger the "toolbox" the more tools.

My thinking was a bold lettered trailer would be much harder to hide and near impossible to keep. Even if you lost the tools you'd find the trailer empty maybe
