Its just as trash as the surplus lol that average spread is on par with tula. This is why everyone claims the AK is not an accurate rifle. Green box barnual sure proved that wrong. Average spread was about 8fps . That ammo hit nearly the same hole . This PSA stuff is straight junk but ill take it ... that's all we got

I know if they are getting there bullet from Hornady the only 7.62x39 round they sell with a ballistic tip is the SSR...I'd say they changed the tip for PSA.the 300 black out is a 308 diameter bullet so is 308 win the 7.62x39 is a 310-311 diameter bullet..so in my guess those are the SST

Nosler makes a black tip .310 123Gr bullet, they call it "varmageddon" . Might be what these are. I load them in boxer primed brass, excellent round. Hornady SSR bullets we're not as accurate, for me, as the Nosler Varamageddon bullets were. You did very good with this test. That saying, still PSA still loaded them a little light. Not hitting the 2375 from a 16" "Sporter" barrell is unacceptable in my book, but that's just me... At least now I don't have to put in an order for a hug box of mags to fill! 🤣

7.62 x 39. Great round. I miss the days of stupid cheap ammo though.

It'd be sweet if someone made a green tip type 7.62x39mm

I think the jelly contraption should never be more than 7 yards from the muzzle. I want to know the close corners performance! Thanks for all the great videos!

Try whit brass ammo from Prvi Partizan, Serbia. Its corrosive primer, medium V, but its consistent. Medium quality for a ammo, but beter than most low budget.

I always thought that the blue and black tip were Nosler loaded projectiles just like the VMAX

I just picked up some AAC 77 grain 5.56 which I’m excited about, and it was only $10.99 a box.

Those recovered slugs don't look like v-max to me. My guess is they changed the chemistry of the core a little bit to get it to hold together more. Whatever they did, great job psa/aac, and great video as usual.

Yeah, several folks have mentioned it might be the SST bullet instead. I have some Hornady loaded SST I need to test out for comparison.

I like interesting AK ammo, I don't have the kind you're testing. I picked up a box of the tumbling rounds, they are some sharp bullets, like needles. performance seemed fine to me. but according to rob ski over at Ak operators the ammo here is slow and underpowered ammo effects accuracy leaving too much time for human error. possibly a contributor to the stories of Ak being not accurate. he knows a lot more about Ak platforms than me. I feel like he knows what he is talking about. he's been on point so far as I can determine.
