It was the late 70's. My pops came up from Arkansas with my stepmom and stepsister to visit. He took me and my younger brother out with them to the mall. Mind you, I was 16, my brother 15, and the three of us menfolk were sitting on a bench in the mall smoking cigarettes ( Pops didn't care about us smoking.) He said, "Boys, one thing you got to get used to is waiting on the women." And wait we did...about 2 hours, I believe. There wasn't a stitch of clothing them two didn't try on. Good times.

Like I keep saying on other Country reactions that I see. When you're younger, you hear the music but when you're older, you hear the lyrics and that's why you probably didn't listen to Country when you were younger. Not just because of your experience in school with people ragging on the Country people but also, you probably heard it and just heard the music but now that you're older, you start to hear and understand the lyrics more and that's why you have a new appreciation for it. I know I'm rambling and that's probably not why but in my head, it sounded good lol
