Depends on whether or not those teeth were holding the jaw in a specific position. In most cases, wisdom teeth are not an issue but there are cases I've seen when the mandible had shifted back slightly when those teeth were extracted

Again Dr Agatha... This info is so grateful appreciate it. I did had my bicuspid removed when getting ortho.. now at my 40s have dislocation sometimes and bite my cheeks or thong. Is there a positive solution for px like this? Thank you ❤

Typically, it's reversing the past treatment. Often it's more ortho, but it gets more complicated than that. You've posed a challenging question to answer because each case and each patient are completely different, and need different types of solutions.

@@dr.agathabis yep exactly like in the video. It was completely unnecessary as well. I just blindly trusted my orthodontist
