It’s worth mentioning that the area where the SpongeBob statues were was known as “the boneyard”, and featured plenty of other Kings Island props which were no longer in use. Even the original ride vehicles and animatronics for Phantom Theater were even left back there. Considering they haven’t been seen in years with them not even appearing up in the small museum display last season, I can only assume that they were scrapped.

🚨🚨CORRECTIONS🚨🚨 (Will post deleted scenes sometime on my side channel) -Screamin' Delta Demon is a BOBSLED coaster, NOT a PIPELINE coaster. A pipeline coaster is something like Ultra Twister where the rails are on the sides. I referred to it as a "pipeline coaster" due to it's pipe-like track. -The Nickelodeon Slime attraction was at Kings Island BEFORE Hanna Barbera Land became Nickelodeon Universe. The Flying Dutchman statue was part of the old attraction. Bikini Bottom Bash was the theme given after the area's retheme. Also, I joined Tik Tok because there are copycats using my logo and channel name together on there. So joining Tik Tok with an official channel is my way of combatting that.

I like looking at the movie industry's impact on Six Flags New Orleans on Google Earth. You can see when Mega-Zeph's infield was cleared out and parts of the park cleaned up for Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. You can see the oil rig from Deepwater Horizon in the parking lot. And you can see remnants of Jurassic World's main street also in their parking lot to this day.

I hope that Deja Vu from Six Flags Over Georgia and Monte Makaya from defunct park Terra Encantada get to reopen here one day... Brazil really deserves that Vekoma GIB running and also Makaya, which was the first coaster to feature 8 inversions before Thorpe Park took the spot with Colossus.

King's Dominion is also my home park. I guess I was not the only one that has blacked out on that ride. One year, I was in the park after running the half-marathon they had there (2017 if I recall) and went to ride 305. I blacked out so hard that I did not come to until after going over that hill after that first turn.

Wished I would’ve saved the screenshot from a few years ago, but I was on Google Earth looking at Kings Island and in the 3D view it showed the back double helix still standing in one big piece. It was very odd to see as that coaster was demolished several years ago and it must’ve been a glitch in the system because it was gone a month later when I looked again.

Rode Scream Machine in South Korea before it closed. Good lord, it was one heck of a ride. It was sad to see Kumdori Land close because it was located just across the bridge from the centre of the city (as in, a 3 minute bus ride). Daejeon lost a lot of its excitement the day it closed. :/ A lot of the youth there say there's nothing to do in the city, even though it's the tech capital of the country, which is really is a shame. Honestly, the city needs to take the Science Park (which replaced Kumdori Land) and put it on par with both Lotte World and Everland (the two largest amusement parks in the country). With the tech coming out of the city (KAIST -Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology- is ranked 91 in the world for universities, out of 23,654, and is #1 in the country. It is located in Daejeon), some INSANE coasters could emerge that would be on-par with some of the greatest in the world!

I filmed my "home park" AstroWorld. There were 2 contractors tasked with ride removal. The park was razed in roughly the same time frame as to have a human baby. I literally saw track from Batman being "dropped". SF got $77m for the land, but it cost $18m to tear it down rather hastily. The Huss Troika was another on that got damaged as well. Nearly 20 yrs. later, still nothing on property other than HLSR booths & Bleachers. Area used for overflow parking.

Another cool google earth find you didn't put in this video is O'Neill's Adventureland in Sydney Australia. It used to be a small amusement park but is now sat abandoned. It also has a whole bunch of old flat rides sitting abandoned like a 1970's zipper and a Huss rainbow. Also sitting on the land is the old trains from Wonderland Sydney's Bush Beast. There are so many old rides sitting on the land its crazy!

That advertisement is perfect for the early to mid 90's. You can't change my mind. They were on the video game advertisement bandwagon.

I was able to get to ride that Togo coaster when it was at Astroworld(R.I.P.). I thought it was an amazing ride. As a kid I was scared at first but went on it three more times.

16:48 mavericks "heartline roll" isn't even a heartline roll. It absolutely would've injured people, and wouldn't have been safe at all.

In Google Earth, you have to hit the clock button to go back in time to previous scans. Google Maps doesn't let you time travel. Also, thanks for the compliment! 😀😀

As a Mansfielder, I just checked Google Images again. They have updated 2023 imagery which still shows that heartline section on the ground. Definitely time to book your tickets in the summer and then make the trip northward to Cedar Point, just 90 minutes away.

I went to Kings Island as a kid right when they put in the Nickelodeon stuff! I had vivid memories of the loving the Rugrats coaster! Went back as an adult and wondered what happened because the Nick area was so cool! (I live between cedar point and the late Six Flags in aurora ohio) so I’m all Snoopied out! But I thought I was imagining the Nick area in kings island for the longest time! 😅

I remember at one point there was a small field behind kings dominion that had some old attractions. I remember specifically seeing the old kiddie swinging ship ride and old theater seats.
