Top 10 Best Graphics on Nintendo Wii

These are in order from 10-1, starting with #10. I feel like that's obvious but since I didn't number them in the video I figured I would leave a comment for those curious. Do you agree with this list? How would you make and number your own list? *EDIT* - For those interested; All games in this video were played and recorded on real hardware.

Very solid list, but seems like you forgot Monster Hunter, though.

I love Monster Hunter, and it was heavily considered here. Ultimately, though, I felt like these games edged it out by just a little. I'm working on more videos focused on the best graphics the Wii had to offer, and it'll def be making an appearance in one of those.

I like the order but I would pit the last story as the number 1 myself!

Looking at the Wii Call of Duty games starting with World at War, they are incredibly impressive for the system. The Cod engines being ported to the Wii from the much more powerful 360/PS3 kinda invalidates the idea of "is a much weaker console powerful enough to run thus game".

Last Story is the best. Too bad the game is mostly washed out greys, it’d look so beautiful with more color.

I feel like the Wii's graphics were worse than the OG Xbox or even the GameCube. Mario Galaxy and DKC look great, though, but they rely on the art direction.

@@juhakallen It doesn't mean much. The point of the Wii wasn't graphics.

@@Clodd1 the wii has a strange look out of crt tvs, and theres a deflicking filter that makes every game looks like ass, in homebrew is possible to remove this filter and get a way better image, if you compare the wii looks with xbox and ps2, you can see how his graphics are better, but most of the time the games portted to wii are really uglier than they needed to be, look at mh3, metroid prime and some exclusives, the wii has some really good looking games.

@@Jojoubert I agree. It depends on the game. For example, The Conduit 2 on Wii looks nice, but I don’t think it compares to Halo 2 or Doom 3, but Metroid Prime 3 does compare. One thing that bothers me, It's that Wii games have jagged edges and too much blur, like in Mario Kart Wii. I saw a tutorial on how to improve the image, but I haven’t tried it yet.
