Tyson's speed was because of wind assist. But Usain Bolt has the highest top end speed recorded legally. Michael Johnson's personal best in the 100 meters is a 10.09 and his top end speed isn't that high since he specialized in the 200 and 400.

@@AfricanEdking Tough to say. I would have to insightfully analyzed some of obscure races through the years. But the most typical indicator in terms of speed endurance is simply speed lost when it comes to 100m and final closing 50m in 200m. Currently the fastest closing 50m in 200m belongs to no other than Yohan Blake - 4.63s in his historic 19.26 run. As for speed lost in 100m reffering to the best single 10m split and Max V there are also 2 of 6 races with the most little decline belonging to Blake with the same decline like the four other athletes (-0.02), respectively (9.91s in Brussels 2010 and 9.82 from Zurich 2011). Other similar among others Usain Bolt (9.96 - Beijing 2015 semi-final), Lyles (9.86 - Shanghai 2019), Bailey (9.88 - London 2012), and Spearmon (9.96 - Shanghai 2007)

Unfortunately, I don't have too much of his data, he didn't run too much 100m, and in the 200m races in which he runs, the sprinters usually spread their maximum speed endurance over the entire race, but I managed to capture his split between 40 and 50 meters in the relay when he ran at the anchor leg 8.80s and reached 43.04kph - 0.8365s in 10m split

@@Pumpxkin Yes I agree. Fahnbulleh has really poor start especially first 10 meters when it looks like he always getting stumble at the start, he needs to take 80 meters to accelerate fully it's greatly visible in his 200m runs, that's why he gonna have problem to go sub 10 in oppose to De Grasse who speed up much faster than him despite lower top speed and it's not big deal for him to running sub 10. De Grasse reached his maximum speed in Doha's WC with 42,92kph and it was the highest speed out of all sprinters in that race even faster than Coleman' speed who won.
