The round table Top 10s are what made Dice Tower into a killer board game channel to watch for me. Lists can often be whatever, but in this format with the great rapport these guys have, the lists are basically just a structured way to discuss different topics about boardgaming.

Awkward Guests indeed: my favorite from the A games I own. And I just noticed in this video, although it has been around for some time now: I love that the time signatures in the separator jingles correspond to the numbers themselves! (Starting with number 9, that is) That’s a really, really cool detail!

Asara comes in at 4 or 5 for me. Get the most of something (like Alhambra except towers instead of buildings) and uses cards as workers. Kramer & Kiesling.

Technically the 10th anniversary set of Ascension does have some very minor balancing changes, but again these are quite minor and hard to notice. Also I never understood the hate for the old art, I like both styles, and most if not all my friends that play the game also still like the old art. It has a cool stained glass look.

It's a fantastic game, but has a LOT of issues for a broad gaming audience. 1. Out of print. 2. Rules/Terms Heavy 3. Commitment - requires involved, knowledgeable players Those hurdles are a lot to get over for a game among thousands of games.
