I wish Ricardo Lopez would have moved up to Flyweight, fights with Chiquita and Carbajal were waiting. There is no doubt in my mind he would have dominated either Champion. His point total will show high for the Strawweights though for sure!

The only thing that hurts Ricardo "Finito" Lopez in this weight Class. Is that his division The Strawweights is the Only Division that Rummy's Corner didn't do a All Decades list Video and in the Decade of the 90s For Sure Ricardo Lopez would becat the top in the list . If he moved up no question he Would've had the top spot among junior Featherweights fot sure IMHO he retired after his Last Fight which was the Undercard of BHop-Tito on Sep. 29th 2001 but what many people don't know is that he has the Distinction Like Floyd Mayweather, Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghe to be the only 4 fighters who retired Undefeated Finito is 51-0

Not sure whether he would dominate or not, but he certainly proved his point within his division and finished with the unique distinction of being unbeaten at every level of boxing. I don't know if Rummy will do this for strawweights since Ring magazine didn't even rank them until recently. That's why Ricardo Lopez didn't even make it into the honorable mentions for the hundred best fighters of all time segment he did with this.

Thank you for this, Rummy, been really enjoying these lower-weight class videos! You do an amazing job with this whole experiment and all the time and effort you put in to give us this awesome free content, I for one, really appreciate it and admire your passion. You've really actually inspired me to start making my own content with my passion for boxing and a lot of the knowledge I've learned from watching your videos, among many other great channels and just watching fights over and over, studying the sport as if I'm getting paid to do it (which I am NOT lol). I really am a big fan of Sor Rungvisai, I hope he can make an even BIGGER mark in Flyweight history than he already has after destroying Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez and Estrada back-to back-to back. Awesome fighter and a true warrior.

Rummy, I love your videos and I'm very aware that you're well versed in heavy heavyweight class...but you're not an expert about lightweight class, I suppose. Why not include 70's & 80's? Yoko Gushiken(13 times tiltle defese), Jung Koo Chang(15 times), Myung Woo Yuh(17 times : world record of this class) and Hilario Zapata are definitely among the best boxers in this division, I believe. Their achievements are extolled by many in this business. They were all inducted into Hall of Fame. IMO, Gushiken in 70's and Zapata and Chang in 80's are a must in this selection ; especially I'd recommend Chang because he fought all the toughest fighters of his era. Since defeating Zapata, his continuing 15 title defense included the fights against Sot Chitalada, Germán Torres(next WBC champion), Katsuo Tokashiki(fomer WBA champion) and Hideyuki Ohashi(future WBA・WBC Minimum champion). He also defeated former champ Alfonso Lopez and Amado Ursua. He fought everybody. After 15 title defense he vacated the title and after a little while faced Humberto Gonzalez, and then moved up to fly weight competing against Chitalada again and Muangchai Kittikasem. Although he lost, those were a very close fight respectively. Some said then he was a way better world's PFP fighter from Asia than Khaosai Galaxy. He was known as " little Pryor" at the time ; fierce like dogs and a very versatile fighter.
