Top 10 Little Mermaid Perfumes - From Ursula to Ariel and Eric! Who Wears Which Fragrance and Why!

In this video I share my thoughts on which Perfumes are worn by which characters from The Little Mermaid. Be it the Walt Disney cartoon, movie or the original Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, each character from Ursula to Ariel, to Sebastian, Prince Eric and King Triton, all have distinct personalities and each one of them pass through an evolutionary arch as the story unfolds. In other words, they begin in one state and evolve into another character state by the end of the story. This evolution means that they also pass through a different fragrance arch. If they are wearing one perfume at the beginning, they might be wearing another one towards the end of the story and most importantly, nothing is what it seems in this fairytale... What a fun perfume video concept. I definitely feel like Ursula would rock a Vivienne Westwood boudoir in her younger days and then maybe Coco Noir by Chanel at her older age. I was obsessed in the Disney cartoon version when she turned into a human. Her long dark hair and white corset dress. She’s honestly the star of the movie, screw Ariel 😂 💜 more videos like this please.

I'm glad I came to visit your fragance channel. I visualized that closing scene as if it was in front of my eyes. I always loved Ursula. The way they animated the character -her movements- it felt almost not meant for a child to watch. She was very sensual and aware of how to use this as a tool

I love the underwater penthouse! The most aquatic frag I have is Lanvin Oxygene. It’s a little screechy and I haven’t figured out if I hate it or not, but it’s very interesting, nonetheless. I loved this vid!

Of course I considered poison for Ursula but then I thought poison would be the perfume for all villains haha. So something more dramatic needed to be given to Ursula… poison will find its place too with the right character 😉🌈💖

Love the subject of the video and the setting. And the perfumes you have chosen. To me Orto Parisi Megamare is a perfect mermaid perfume. Only...that mermaid is not exactly alive...😅😅 but anyway it's a cool perfume!

I’ve never smelled Zoologist’s Squid. According to Fragnatica, it has ink, sea salt, and ambergris. This might work for Ursula as well.

How do you identify ambergris in the perfume ingredient list? Is it explicitly listed as “Ambergris Extract”?

Yes, in the encens mythique formulation I have, ambergris extract is specifically listed as such in the ingredients list printed on the back of the perfume box.

I had a feeling you would mention Anna Sui. The odd thing about that perfume is it doesn’t smell like I would think a mermaid would. For a young naive Ariel, I could see her in Acqua di Gioia. For an evolved adult, no longer innocent version of Ariel, I would pick Thierry Mugler Womanity… it has a briny aquatic scent - with sweet fig and notes of actual caviar. The sweet fig would represent her on land and the caviar would harken her back to the sea. Also the bottle looks very futuristic and Atlantean like it came from Atlantis. 😉 🧜🏼‍♀️ I love this video idea by the way! It really got my wheels spinning thinking of all my favor Disney characters and what I could imagine them wearing. 🥰🙏🏽 P.S. I wrote my comment prior to getting to your Sebatstian’s perfume choice! I got ahead of myself! 😂

Being from Russia myself I must say I have never heard of such a leather type as Volynka. But maybe this is some professional term. The word "volynka" is commonly used here as a musical instrument. And in a phrase "Tyanout' volynkou" - meaning to postpone smth, to make someone wait. And since in translation it is "to stretch volynka" hey, maybe the leather is meant here hm...😅 Interesting perfume though. I simply must go and try it 😊
