Have you tried making a slug from fireworks before? The little popper ones might explode inside the barrel, but if you use the little crayon size tnt sticks you might just ignite the fuse first. Think of a weak frag round. Speaking of fireworks, sparklers would be cool as well.

Tungsten Carbide has a long history of use in sub-caliber kinetic penetrators. The carbon fiber round seems to be based off of the old HVAP/APCR design of anti-tank round, but with a more simplistic design. Depending on how fast the round is going, you may be just as well off with a steel penetrator with some other base to increase mass and energy behind it.

@gadsdenguy48808 жыл бұрын
84KingLouie Yeah, I don't think so. The ME, maybe. Islam, no way. And I quote: "We have had all the requirements of the Islamic state like fundraising, almsgiving, penalties, and prayers and still have only one thing which is the caliphate...the legality of all emirates, groups, states, and organizations, becomes null by the expansion of the caliph's authority and arrival of its troops to their areas." So says one of their stud ducks. Are they killing other Muslims that don't agree with their particular outlook? Certainly. But to pretend that they are not trying to force a version of Islam on both the ME as well as the rest of the world is denying reality. They call themselves Muslims. They're enforcing medieval Sharia practices on the poor sods unlucky enough to be in the areas that they conquered. They follow a highly literal interpretation of the Koran. Islam is literally the only thing that makes these people tick. Like it or not, Islam has EVERYTHING to do with ISIS.
@84KingLouie8 жыл бұрын
+Gadsden Guy You truly have no idea what Islam is if you believe that isis is in any way shape or form related to Islam. Just because they claim to be Muslim, doesn't mean they are. Actions speak louder than words.

@pyroisacooldude8 жыл бұрын
They would break into many many pieces because diamond is only really hard on some angels, but if you hit it on an odd angle they would break into their crystal structure. Basically what im saying is that the crystal structure of diamond is only good for certain angles and making a slug that shoots unpredictably would not fair well.
@arbitrage21418 жыл бұрын
LousyLuke Couldnt this be solved with a mixture of geometry and algebra, it would never be worth it but just theoretically I think you could engineer a diamond slug to work. You'd just have to make it so the angle of the tip is durable at whatever force it reaches on impact at a guaranteed range of angles. If that makes sense. *leans back on armchair *

Jeff, another Great & Informative video from you... as they ALL Are. QUESTION: In regards to wax "slugs"... is it possible to make them Too heavy, therefore creating excessive back pressure and possibly rupturing the barrel... or even blowing the breech area ?? Should I get a scale, like I've seen you use a few times in the videos... to do a "Before & After" weight check on each shell to keep them as close to the "factory loaded weight" as possible ?? IF so, what is a good scale to use, and where to get it ? Are there any scales that weigh in Grams AND Grains, that your aware of ??..... if so, I could use it for weighing and matching pellets for my air rifles, as well.... rather than having to purchase one of each. Thanks, Jeff.... and REALLY appreciate all the effort you put into what you do, and getting it out to everyone. Take Care and may you always hit what your aiming at. : ) PS: In one of your wax slug video's, you said you would enclose the link for where to obtain that nifty "shell cutter" (at the crimp)..... and I forgot to open that up after watching the video (a few weeks ago)... and now, I don't remember which video it was. Could you possibly enclose the link for that wooden cased (appeared to be wood, anyway) shell cutter, in your reply (hopefully) to my questions, here ??

The shirt design looks nice but can use a few suggestions. The red bear definitely looks awesome but using the same colors for the bullets doesn't make them stand out and makes them look as if they're made from gelatin like the bear. Try to make the background olive/military green instead of grey and make the bullets gray instead of red. I'd also leave the font horizontal not curved is it's right now, maybe try olive green for the font background too.
