Yeah I was totally on that old man’s side. The young woman who owns the dog was almost overly solicitous, and rather mugging for the camera. The man seemed afraid but also sensitive to the dog. Said it has anxiety, needs a trainer. He was as right. I was bitten by a dog about 18 months ago. I was just walking into my hotel, had a mask and my faux fur lined bomber hat on, so I guess I looked like a bear. The dog got spooked and bit me just above my right knee. I’ve broken bones, I’ve had two Cesarean sections - that dog bite was most painful. And the dog, Max, didn’t seem aggressive- but he is an animal. You can’t predict how an animal is gonna act. I’m on the old man’s side, who seems to be on the dog’s side.

@Eros4tw5 жыл бұрын
@Da Real Syedah Even if she was right, that doesnt give her the right to smack or hit the other guys. Shes also 100% wrong about their right to video record her -- they have every right to do that. Her slapping and getting physically aggressive with the guys is a real problem as they did not get physical with her first. Whatever issue started the initial conflict, now it becomes really muddy because instead of just walking away or calling the cops, she is now on video acting very aggressive, slapping these guys more than once and looks quite unhinged. She very well may of had the right to be as angry and upset as she was...but once she started to get violent, all sympathy I had for her flew right out the window. You say "don’t go looking for a problem if you don’t want one" -- it sure looked like that woman was looking for conflict. Those guys didnt say almost anything to her yet she kept coming back over and over and over again -- while getting more violent each time.

Expecting someone to adapt to your animal when theyve lived there for a while and the animal was a recent addition to the neighborhood. If the dog is showing signs of aggression then its up to the owner to either secure the animal or find a way to modify the aggressive behavior. If dog-owners don't establish the Alpha role, the dog will default into a dominant, territorial, protective role, i.e. Alpha. It doesn't matter if her dog is sweet and friendly to "everyone." If her dog is showing aggression toward even ONE PERSON, it needs to be addressed immediately. She is ignorant, if not stupid, and is clearly blind to her own pet-owner shortcomings.

@insideseptiplieredits11862 жыл бұрын
She's not the stupid one. What she is describing is that the dog is playful. The man is the stupid one thinking HE KNOWS THE DOG EVEN THOUGH HE'S NEVER MET IT. My 2 dogs have done the same thing since they were 1. And they still do it. Well sometimes cause they're almost 15 and one can't move and play around like that anymore. But they still do it. Would you say they're agressive? Your sister's dog is not her dog. All dogs are different. From what she is describing, I think she has a puppy. Puppies do that. And sometimes when they play like that, one will yelp because they want attention. If the guy actually went to meet the dog, and the dog smelled him, then this issue wouldn't happen. And if other neighbors have already met the dog and have no problem, HOW IS SHE STUPID?!?!?! He's stupid because NO ONE ELSE HAS HAD AN ISSUE!!!

The guy talking about the dog situation is spot on...
@Eros4tw5 жыл бұрын
I mean....I guess? He comes across as a real jerk know-it all though. He seems to be complaining that the dog is barking? And also jumps at the fence when he goes outside. And....? It doesnt sound like the dog ever did ANYthing to him other than that. Unless the dog is barking at 10PM at night, or if its constantly getting out of the yard, or if the dog was causing destruction to the fence...the owners are not really required to do anything in regards to his complaints. My dog is SUUUPER sweet, except when shes in our yard and some random person walks by the fence - she will barks a couple of times at them. But if that same person came into our house, she would lick them like crazy. All bark, no bite. This guy just sounds like hes had some personal bad experiences with dogs, and thus likes to tell everyone else why what they are doing with their dogs is wrong. And his attitude sure does make it seem as though hes one of those people who HAS to be right about everything, and everyone else is wrong.
@Eros4tw5 жыл бұрын
@@jmcorbett14 I would say going to the house "with cameras rolling" shows that their interactions with this guy have been pretty poor in the past. The woman apparently wrote an apology card based on their last interaction with this guy (who wouldnt even touch the card), and her attitude was pretty fair. She said they were working on training their dog to avoid doing some of the things hes complaining about - yet none of that was enough for this guy. Not really sure what more the woman could have done based on the little information we have on that situation...but his attitude was piss poor throughout that whole interaction.
@jmcorbett145 жыл бұрын
@@Eros4tw Hey Eros4tw, I interpreted the card as a passive aggressive gesture however I would agree that I don't know the facts and circumstances that lead up to the situation. With that said, imagine someone showing up at your home presumably extending an olive branch and having another person behind recording you...It just doesn't strike me as genuine. I do appreciate your response as we all form opinions based on our own experiences and there is certainly a possibility that I'm misreading the situation.

One of my neighbors who just recently moved into his deceased parents' place has three dogs, two of which often bark at me from across the road if they see me outside, even sometimes leaving their yard to come up to my fence, barking aggressively. My neighbor always gets them back into his yard, but having had dogs most of my life, I know how to handle an aggressive dog, and I know what the dogs are trying to do. They feel they are protecting their property, and their barking does not bother me. They don't know me, but I would like to go across the road so they can get to know me, but I have mobility issues that don't allow me to go to my neighbor to introduce myself to them. Actually, I find their barking to be kind of comforting, but it seems to drive my neighbor crazy (and I understand that too because they often bark seemingly at nothing, or at a bird that lands on their fence or the ground). They are being protectors of their property and are good doggos. I guess I don't understand the old guy in the "drawn-out confrontation" clip because the woman was being very reasonable, and I would never even suggest anything as horrible as he did.
