I must agree that Here Comes a Thought is one of my favorites from this show as well. I feel that it's a song that teaches the first step in dealing with any negative experience in life, which is to first internalize and then accept how you felt about a situation. Once that's clear in someone's mind they can figure out how to resolve the situation more easily. Hence, this song has become like a coping mechanism for me. When my own feelings and thoughts turn nasty, I actually find myself humming or singing this song. It calms me down enough to think clearly and take Garnet's advice. Definitely one of Rebecca's more profound messages in the show.

In regards to Here Comes the Thoughts, you can also use the emotion to fuel you as well. Use that emotion to push you to an end goal. Example: I lost some one very dear to me and even though I had no way of stopping it, I used that emotion I felt from it to drive me to do better and learn new ways of protecting the people I love now.

Here comes a thought is an extremely precious song to me. I was pretty messed up and suffering when I heard it the first time but I kept denying those feelings and acting like I was okay. That song (and the episode itself) showed me that it was okay to allow myself to feel pain because I wouldn't be able to heal unless I accepted how hurt I was. Hard to not cherish a song that helped you through tough times.
