Green and black specked pumpkin tube with 1/4 weighted hook. Just toss out and slowly bounce back toward boat. Overcast conditions preferred. If sunny, use green and chartreuse. Find a drop off, anchor in shallow and toss in the deep and bring it in. Never let me down.

alright so when you feel any thing out of the green (pun) you jerk the rod to dig the hooks deeper into the fish and when you worm fish i normally fell it not moving so i wait 1-3 seconds and jerk not hard but not soft and besides if a fish hits anything with a treble hook it will normally get them for you

Its not a dumb question. See these fish dont only eat fish because the hungry some times bite a fish when something catches there attention. Sent are manly used for fish that use the senses to hunt fishing like catfish with there wiskers. Walleye does the same thing with sound they can hear useing the bone in there body that why you see rattles in Walleye bait or bass. Point is bass like action that why they love shiny bright looking lures. But they allso might want some more realistic to resemble a bluegill or crayfish or frog or worm etc...

***** you should try the fluke weightless for schooling fish. it works really good as a backup for the popper, or you can just fish it like a jerkbait right under the surface. just try it next time your out and the bass are schooling.
