Just finished my trip to Switzerland and am currently in Rome. It felt like I was hearing more German than Swiss German where I was, but I was in Grindelwald where it was mostly tourists, and also there was an Eiger race there too. I did get a few "Guet morge" from some kind people I passed by though 🙂

Hoi Andrea, Eine Frage: Das hani au gern heisst auf Deutsch "Das hätte ich auch gern". Warum wird hier "ich" als "i" ausgesprochen?

Wir schreiben Wörter oft zusammen, weil es einfacher ist zum aussprechen. "Hani" ist eigentlich "han ich".

Oh oh oh oh!!! I just had a light bulb go off in my brain💡 1) it is 100% okay to use the same words as in German in Swiss German too. 2) Suech comes from the word Suchen meaning to search. I search= I sueche You search= Du suechsch oder du suesch **Please correct me on this one** We search= Mir sueched He/she/it search= Är/si/äs suechet They search= Si suechet

Yes! Du suechsch. The verb stem (=suech) always stays the same.
