I Just learned to like squash...My wife worked on me for over a decade and a half to get me to like it. She makes a very good butternut squash soup with creme fresh and a squeeze of lime.

I've never used that squash but will look for it now. They all look fantastic, but the second one is swoon worthy. I'm on my way to cook rice with.....some stuff. I've forgotten about it recently, too. Thanks for the super inspirational recipes! PS: I too like "blobs" of stuff :)

I've seen Kabocha squash at my supermarket but never took the plunge, thank you for inspiring us! My latest squash obsession was the Delicata squash but I will try Kabocha next :) .. all 3 dishes look scrumptious, what a treat... the stew at the end looks so tempting, especially since I just bought some Lebanese Za'atar and some Baharat spice blend which I think I can try in here too. Love the rice dish with goat cheese, I made some rice pilaf two weeks ago with sautéed mushrooms and goat cheese and it was very comforting. And hope this doesn't sound weird but the Baked Omelette looks like those fancy soap slices I always wish were edible lol... brilliant idea. Thank you for providing the ingredients list with the amounts, very helpful. - Really enjoyed the music in this episode, and the whole vibe was just awesome. -kas

I see a lot of Japanese influencers cube kabocha and sweet potato and put it on top of the rice in their rice cooker after adding the water but before setting it off, figured you'd really appreciate that with your recent rice cooker love affair!

These look delicious. I've never made a baked omelette and I think I need to change that;) One question though, I haven't seen kabocha squash where I live, but I can get red kuri squash (it's called Hokkaido squash here). It's also dense and a bit starchy, but the skin is orange. Would it be a good substitute for kabocha? Love your videos! Cheers!

Yoo! I found you from Think Media's Channel. Squash is an amazing food. For a vegetarian it's a wonderful "meaty" item, like you said. That omelette looks so delicious. Plus I like the idea with the "viral" tortilla fold. Legit, who ever came up with that is a genius 😂 But I'm gonna need about 4 of those! The addition in the chickpea stew also looks like a really good idea. Keep creating! Both with the camera and in the kitchen 🙌 🥘 📸 🔥 As for me (My name’s Ryan!) I started creating content on KZbin to help people live more meaningful lives. It really makes me sad to see people reflect on life and realize they could’ve done much more with the time they were blessed with! Watching others is one way we learn, so my goal is to be an example for others who need guidance on travel, self-development, and love in action! ❤️ Much love! 🤓 Keep chasing your dream and bringing value to your audience! 🙌🏼

Oh great question. I know it sounds weird, but I'd probably swap in something like pineapple or mango chunks! Juicy and sweet. They'll be great against the mild creaminess of the squash.
