There are so many instances where that same logic and feeling can be applied. I do it and I thought...no out loud I said "14 Fuckin year?!?".... exactly what you said. My issue.....If I'm only 4 foot tall. I am not jailed for not being able to dunk a basketball. If I only have one arm. No one forces me to drive a manual transmission car. I don't know much. Shit I'm kinda dumb....But that kid who killed her. Absolutely has to be missing some part of his brain or the function of it. That level of uncaring is outside the normal range by such a large margin. That there has to be a defect. Ok so what....well the point of our justice systems is supposed to be justice. Not monster creation. So Killin that kid or giving him 100 years ect. Is like forcibly requiring a disabled person to drive a car or operate a dangerous machine. I hate this line of logic but I don't have a better argument. That allows me to be ok with becoming exactly what I am supposed to be punishing. Now if they can prove he's fully normal. 100% capable of the correct behavior, rationale and has a totally "normal" brain. Fine execution. But since we can't even properly discribe how consciousness works. I don't think we'll have that capability in my life time. It sucks. It's like what Nietzsche said "Careful looking into the abyss, it looks back".

10 years commercial diving experience here, giving input on third story's hypothesis. He was down for a lot longer than he anticipated, his willpower to pull it off kept him holding, fine, no problem, she says yes and he's like "mission accomplished but I need effin air now like pronto". When surfacing, it is imperative one put their non dominant hand above their head (the hand you would be willing to lose or injure) so I use my left hand when ascending in dark water or I simply cannot tilt my head to look up. This is to prevent knocking your head on an unseen object as your hand takes the impact instead. The deck above was most likely protruding out from the underwater structure, and in this mans haste to surface, his judgment lapsed and he swam with his head into the underside of the decking and was knocked unconscious. It is highly unlikely he blacked out while surfacing. I think this is the most plausible explanation
@eatwhatukiii25323 жыл бұрын
That’s similar to what I was thinking. Even if he wasn’t knocked out, just impacting the deck above might have been enough to jar him into reflex-gasping if he was already fighting the urge to take a breath. That urge can be pretty strong and hard to fight in the last moments before reaching the surface. A horrifically sad story. I really feel for both of them and I hope she somehow, someday, finds happiness again.

Freediver here, seems like a plausible option but I disagree that it's highly unliky he blacked out. Shallow water blackout is actually one of the most common causes of death among spearfishers that push themselves just that little bit longer than they should, that's why you should never ever freedive without a buddy at the surface even if you're shallow. It seems very likely to me that he experienced shallow water blackout here. Absolutely devastating.

@jeremysiron96223 жыл бұрын
So it was April 15 and I had to do my taxes, my family and I were in the middle of nowhere so I had to try to do them online… There was no signal, so basically we crunched the numbers in our head and figured if we drove without stopping for 26 hours, we could physically get there and get the taxes turned in on time,… So the next day we set up everything we were good to go we had our plan and we set off, now what we didn’t know was there was a huge construction project going on in one of the cities we had to go through, and as a result of this we weren’t going to be able to make it on time, and we knew this, but we optimistically tried to push through and get there but ultimately we did not make it on time. I called the tax office the next day and said I will bring it in as soon as possible and talked with a representative about what happened and the representative kind of gave me a confused voice over the phone like she didn’t know what I was talking about. She said, Mr. Ballen, We saw you here yesterday you came in and dropped your taxes off an hour and a half before the deadline… And sure enough when I checked through my agent, they had complete possession of my taxes everything was done and it looked exactly like my handwriting which sent me chills down my spine, and the fact that there were some kind of doppelgänger or I have no idea even how to view this is just horrifying as well,... so no matter how you wanna look at this the bottom line is is we didn’t physically get the tax it to that office somebody else did, and two witnesses said they saw me and this is just 24 hours earlier, now I know I didn’t do it, but the bottom line is there was some guy that people thought it was me and they somehow got my taxes in..... that was the second paranormal experience I’ve had in my life and the last

My theory on the drowning man is that he was so amped on adrenaline due to being in the open ocean and the fact he was proposing to his girlfriend, that when he was low on oxygen he didnt realize because the adrenaline was keeping him conscience. He then drowned as he was too low on oxygen and couldnt make it to the surface in time.

It's not a bad explanation but perhaps I have a better one, although I do have a little bit more information to work with. When they did his autopsy they found trama to the head af if he had been hit with something. I think probably the best explanation is that he was excited to get back to the surface to see his girlfriend and get her answer so he shot up and hit his head on something on the houseboat thing knocking him unconscious and since he was probably low on oxygen already he didn't have much time to come to and resurface so he drowned

The Yugoslavians fought the Nazis as opposed to...? Unfortunately these World War allegiances were binary, so the Nazis were very efficient at driving otherwise neutral parties into the arms of the British Empire and whatnot, to fortify the existing colonial system. Germany and England were allies. Not enemies. Allies. And Adolf Hitler didn't commit suicide after WWII. He may indeed have killed his ugly newlywed wife, but he himself was livin' large in Argentina.
@evelynzlon94922 жыл бұрын
Another interpretation of WWII is that Germany attempted to secede from the Roman Empire, which includes the British Empire from the standpoint of colonial subjects. But since the imperialists had all the power, those outside of the loop were left to squabble amongst themselves.
@evelynzlon94922 жыл бұрын
I posit the second interpretation because although Germany herded neutral parties into the arms of the British Empire, these parties did so out of constraint and not entirely by choice. And plus they acquired advanced weaponry in the process. So in the long view, Germany armed England's enemies.

I am so sorry to hear that! 🙏😞♥️ In a short time Gods kingdom will start to govern above the whole earth. Then you could see your son and your husband again (Matthew 6: 9,10). Jesus said about this topic: Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. (John 5: 28) Also Gods word the Bible says about this topic: With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” (Revelation 21: 3) If you have any questions about the Bible please write me. Gods word the Bible gives a great hope and the best thing is that it really is the truth. ♥️📖 God can comfort you if you search for him. 🙏😊♥️

And if the whole story about Yugoslavia is confusing, Yugoslavia was, let’s say, a “union” of a few countries: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and North Macedonia. Yugoslavia existed till 2006 when all the countries in Yugoslavia gained their independence, but before that, the full name was SFRY (Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). And in 2006, the last country in SFRY to gain independence was Serbia. 😁

@herberthans70153 жыл бұрын
@@riripari2042 yeah someone could have told him she cheated on him (out of jealousy, as a joke, etc.), too. I'm not sure if she would meet him in the woods if she had actually cheated on him but you never know. just like he could suffer from mental diseases the girl could have high levels of narcissism which "can manifest themselves in a pathological form as narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), whereby the individual overestimates his or her abilities and has an excessive need for admiration and affirmation." I actually know people who think their primitive, sneaky strategies to manipulate people are genius and will never be detected when you can tell they are phony from a mile away. I've seen schizophrenic people who would hurt themselves or others in some sort of daydream, too, so we'll never know.
@herberthans70153 жыл бұрын
@HesMade TheDecision Well the narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) comes in many forms, actually most of us have narcissistic tendencies we just don't go there. Like you said there are warning signs and especially for people who can't judge a persons character quickly and accurately it's good to read up on that. But I think any person can have a bad day and go off out of nowhere, as long as no violence and so on is involved and it's not to extreme I think it's human. I personally definitely suffer from mood changes and probably got more issues than that but I think I'm still a good match for most girls unless they want to have a perfect family and many kids, maybe I could even manage a big family you never know what you're capable of until you take responsibility.

OMG, THAT LAST STORY brought me to tears! OMG!💔 This last story just gave me a good cry for about maybe 15 minutes. I found her profile on Facebook, and I wanted so much to reach out to her, to let her know that someone had shared her story; I wanted to tell her how sorry I was that she lost the love of her life. BUT I DIDN'T DO IT. I just felt that it wouldn't have been appropriate. She doesn't know me from Adam; I am a complete stranger to her, and that's how I'm going to remain. Seeing her smile in her recent Facebook photos is enough for me to know that she's she's doing OK and she is moving on with her life. ❤

This is why I often tell teen girls and young women how to potentially identify an abusive monster. I didn’t learn until it was way too late and it wrecked my life to the point that i am often reflexively afraid of males (but hide it pretty well bc I’ve been in a lot of male-dominated settings, from STEM college classes to workplaces and ultimately, sad to say, the streets). I wish more people understand that monsters of many variations lurk in our society and sometimes the most dangerous monster is extremely convincing at seeming harmless or even moral & decent. It would be far more appropriate & productive than victim-judging/blaming (ref other thread).
