Hi Edina @The Spanish Guitar Hub, If could learn in one to one session from you it would be a great achievement in the course of my guitar playing..I have subscribed to your channel some months ago....one thing I still cannot cover at speed is playing the 4 beat fast basic rumba that is with only using the --thumb, index finger and palm/hand--combination....however I can play the same with--palm/hand; the fingers 'm','a' together and thumb--playing Slap-Up-down-Up strokes consecutively ....I want to learn the combination where palm, INDEX and thumb are only used.......What should I do? I apologize for this long comment. Pardon me. Thank you,

dont take it bad but when i watch your video 10 years ago .. you were struggling with the picado .. not putting your fingers close to the strings to economize efforts and gain speed .. all these years and i i see that you re at the same level .. how can you give courses when you re struggling yourself ??!! i think you have a big number of followers only because you show some basics and that you have a nice personnality .. because i met many guitarists ..in 2 or 3 years they have a good level and can play properly with dexterity traveling the scales and having the right playing (picado etc ..) .. also i heard you saying that it took u 6 months to play the right hand move of mariachi !!!! do you play once in a week to be that slow??? it is really not meant to put you down or anything but those are things that i notice ..that are strange to struggle after all those years of practice !!! best regards

Sorry that my guitarplaying did not satisfy you, also that it took me longer to learn the mariachi Strumming. But instead of wasting your time watching my videos you could go and watch other people I am sure there are plenty of other channels which a better standard to your taste.

you didnt take good good hummm ... why not just be honnest and say yes after more than 10 years i still don t nail or master the picado technic and travel scale with fluidity and speed ? i don t have any problem myself to admit that it s been more than one year that i try to be confortable with the minor and major scale but i still struggle ! if you accept only compliments by amateurs and beginners and rejet those who just figure out that something is going wrong that after years and years the picado isn t there .. neither the speed .. just be humble and say the truth !!! i swear it's definitly not to be mean at all .. it is just that i m practicing since 15 years (blues, folk, rock) and flamenco (since only 2 months) and i have the same picado and speed than you after 10 years ??) so you impose me to say this and it s bewildering objectivly ..while others are practicing since years and become like Ruben Diaz Flamenco Guitar, adam del monte etc etc

Hi, I'm somebody that plays at the level of those you mention in your reply, I work in Hollywood, with the best guitarist in the world, both acoustic and electric, I'm also a guitar builder for the same people, I teach some of them too, one of my students wanted to learn strumming, which really not my forte, I was not taught in classical guitar, so I saw that Edina had something to offer, rasgueado so more than in one chance I directed them for that. She stated she was following a young couple ,Rodrigo y Gabriela, not Paco de lucia or other, so for you to say things I do better in a couple of months and you can't in 10 years is kind of , idiotic for lack of better words, she is right, you should look elsewhere, me particularly, I learned a thing or two from this girl, and so some of my clients.

alejandro lagos .....brother.. don t wanna repeat myself but...i haven't said that people aren't learning from her .. never said that .. so sorry for me to be just honnest when i say there is no improvment in the picado etc since her older videos.. 10 years ago .. that's just a fair remark.. the person could just put the ego beside and say : yes you re right .. maybe that adam del monte etc have more habilities and talent and you re true that many people gain and reach much more dexterity, speed and power in the execution ... and the fact you say your introduction to say at the end that you come and take some stuff from her when your department is acoustic and electric isn't an argument for my point at all .. myself i ve been playing the blues fopr 15 years..i can easily reproduce a freddy king or clapton guitar solo without tabs .. but hey i spent too much time playing the blues (pentatonic scales) and cat stevens covers (only chords) that i m not as confortable with my minor and major scales as with the pentatonic .. if you tell me the remark ..i will say that's true !!! that's it .. that's just to hint the principle .. when someone isn t coming with a mean intention .. don t tell him go to another channel or idiot
