I remember listening to the third story and thinking "this whole routine thing sounds really familiar..." And remembered: there's an episode of CSI that opens EXACTLY like that. Until that point I never realized it was inspired by true events... 😥

The tree lung basically looks like a red piece of chicken that is wraped around a piece of rosemary. It is not as bad as you think...

I always heard a mother's love is unconditional. And Norman Bates said that a boy's best friend is his mother.

The #1 story, his parents were amazing. The fact that they said they will help him get back on his feet despite everything he did from failing classes to forging his father's signature to get his money... and he STILL caused all this chaos anyway... unbelievable.

The human mind and body is truly fascinating and scary.... To not even recognize that you are dying or injured and just doing your daily routine like it's any other is crazy. Also yeah the mother problem has alot of cells missing probably.

The morning routine thing is a very odd, very real thing. Years ago, my great uncle was found on the floor in his house, dead. He was on blood medication and, from what I understand, did not have or take the medication that day or the day before. (I'm not really sure about those details as I was a child when it happened). However, what happened that morning I do remember because of how shocking it was to find out. By the time he woke up out of bed, he was already so far gone that he didn't even realize that he was essentially bleeding out. He just kept on as usual, getting ready to go to work for the day. He had work clothes put out on the bed, etc, and seemed to almost have finished his typical morning routine when he collapsed. You could follow his path around the house. I don't think he ever realized he was bleeding when it happened. That memory has always stuck with me.

I don't know if anyone caught that moment when Chris was on the phone when he said "I was wondering if you had any information on ME," keyword "me." It seems he fumbled his words out of fear because he knew he was going to get caught eventually since it was all over the news. I can't believe how calm he sounded.

Honestly the son being a psychopath kind of makes sense to me why the mom didn't have a stronger reaction in a way. To my layman's understanding of the condition, he can't experience empathy for other people, as such he wouldn't get very emotional about doing something like that. But his parents were dealing with that for their son's whole life so it seems to me they might explain away a lot of his behavior if they didn't actually deal with it up til this point. Throw in an overprotective mother that cares for her son and can't understand he's a monster, I can see her being unconditional with her love and really admitting he is that monster forces her to ask questions of herself that I don't think she's ready for.

No, she knew he was a monster and mr ballen explained it, but then as she was receiving treatment when she eventually awoke from her coma. She forgot everything, which means she was letting a monster like him stay at her place without her even knowing. If I had a kid and some day he decides to kill puppies as well as multiple innocent people while torturing them, then my love for my kid as a parent would dissolve. The day my kid or kids ever turn evil is the day I gotta take care of them myself for bringing those disgusting monsters into this world👎🏽 a parent’s love is huge when it’s towards a human being but when it’s towards an evil monster then it’s a whole different story

There was also a family in Michigan that went missing for a week. The father was an international trader and this is part of his call to 911. (Mr. Geeting is the chief of police) Tony Cirigliano: “It is of vital national interest. It is related to Sept. 11 and people want to erase me from the face of the Earth. I’m not crazy. Mr. Geeting knows me. I’m a Christian. I just need some help and then the U.S. government will take it from here. I know this sounds crazy. You don’t have instructions for this. Please send someone that knows Geeting and can talk to U.S. authorities, please.” The cops got there and essentially said everyone was okay, and since the dad was coherent, cooperative and technically nothing illegal had been done they ended up just leaving and the family of 4 went missing the next day. They were all found safely a week later but they don’t qualify for witness protection.

To put it simply: when she got attacked and barely survived, she told the doctors or police officers that her son attacked both her husband and her. Then she was put in a medical induced coma, on top of that her brain also got messed up from the attack, which made her forgot what happened which is why she stuck with her son. She basically knew beforehand but then forgot after receiving treatment, which means she was letting a disgusting evil monster stay at her home without her even knowing what he’s done. Truly disturbing, rip to the dad and my condolences to the mother🙏🏽
