Top 3 watch brands of 2023 (and the winner!)

It's 2024 now and we have a big year ahead of us. I'd like to take a quick look back however to my favourite brands of 2023.
The brands featured have, for me, gone above and beyond in their respective rights - whether it’s innovation, continued market success or just sheer determination.

The Longines legend diver has always been a favorite of mine. Not just another sub patterned watch. The new Conquest is also a solid choice.

All 3 solid choices. CW is certainly the darling of watch media this year. But the headz have been keeping an eye on CW since at least their first moonphase, which was released several years ago and still looks pretty awesome. I love Tudor, but this was mostly a resting year for them. Sizes and colors do not impress that much. It was really Rolex’s turn at the front of the room this year. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tudor has a really big year in 2024 or 2025 at the latest. They have a lot of capacity after getting rid of the Heritage Chrono and Advisor, among others.

Great content. Christopher Ward are making some serious moves, bravo to them. This year I bought a Black Bay 54 and it has become my only watch. Casual through to formal the size and design has me covered. The Legend Diver is also a beautiful watch as is the conquest. What a year!
