Though the game is referred to as Fire Emblem 'THREE' houses, thanks to the DLC a fourth establishment was added to Fodlan in the form of the Ashen Wolves, and it's time to find out which are the best of the bunch.

My favorite remains Yuri, for similar reasons to why you like Constance. However where Constance is still in that constant strugle, I feel Yuri is someone I aspire to be like more. He's confident, yet never cocky. Knows his strength and weaknesses, and wil play to them. But most important of all, he never gives up on and will always be there for them. He's the best kind of scumbag.

For Example Felix perfers Annette and Dorothea for Singing, Bernadetta because of Technique She subconsciously used on him( Correct to me if the original translation is a different) and Slyvian cause of history). But regarding c plus supports I do know it means it takes longer for individuals longer warm up each other. Am I answering about the main character being able to potentially remain every individual is unrealistic And I feel that getting rid of canon pairing or Implied. I also find a creepy and Disgusting that Byleth could romance Rhea... For crying out loud if she is his grandmother.

I always felt that Golden Deer should have been given it's own Jeritza. Blue Lions had Gilbert join as that route specific character. Through DLC, Jeritza became the Black Eagles route character. But the Golden Deer didn't get anyone, despite a few NPC's that we see that could of been used. Much sad for the Golden Deer.

Always a good time when I see one of your videos are up. Constance is one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters overall. And her and Hapi did so well for me against the Church route final boss, Hapi through whole game was really funny due to high range and movement she was essentially a moving magic artillery.

I personally adore Hapi both as a unit, and a character, so much. Giving her the shield of seiros, wich halves damage from monsters and restores health, works wonders when she attracts monsters, deals more damage to them, and easily breaks their barriers, especially as a Valkyrie. Having her on the final map of Azure moon in Maddening was a blessing haha. All Ashen Wolves are amazing though, I love them all and ranking them is sooo hard!! Either way, great video!

I love Constance’s character so much! The tragedy she went through and how she deals with her trauma specifically is so relatable to me. The fact that she went through the same sort of familial (and the whole territory) tragedy as Dimitri is so crazy to me, bc no one ever brings it up when talking about Dimitri, or how similar they are to each other. Constance just handles her family-murdered-in-broad-daylight trauma in a ~different~ way, to say the least, lol. The way she masks herself and shuts down when in daylight is so relatable to anyone who has any sort of trauma trigger. Of course, it was a bit exaggerated here, but I think it was written with a lot more grace than Bernie’s (love her so much but it felt like mockery of her mental illness a lot of the times). In terms of an ~anime~ personality disorder, I think it was done really well. And the way Emile and Constance work together as 2 people with different personality triggers is so beautiful. I love the relationships among those 2 and Mercedes so much. They all (and Emile/Mercie’s mom) deserve to live in a newly-built Nuvelle estate on the beach with a huge rose garden conservatory to frolic around in 🤲🏼

Constance defo had a more tasteful depiction of having a trauma trigger than the likes of Bernie, and it is a shame that the game doesn't go into too much detail about how awful what happened to her house is. Still I'm glad you love Constance so much and hope you enjoyed the video.

So, how do you feel about them in Three Hopes (if you played it)? The banter between Holst, Hilda and Balthus on the paralogue is a riot. Also Anna in Engage is an axe wielding powerhouse, especially if you make her a wolf rider.

They're about just as good in three hopes, Constance might be slightly better since some supports like with Petra are excellent.

*rubs hands together* This gonna be good. -I rarely use the phrase "done dirty" but Anna was done so dirty in Three Houses. -Jeritza is yet another reason Crimson Flower is my favorite and I'd have paid money for him if I had to. -Hapi's support with Constance is my favorite because it lets her be chill and funny and not have to worry about her problems. And Constance's reaction to her is priceless. -Balthus is the definition of hidden depths. He brings his bounty hunter problem on himself, but his stepmother is a jerk and he doesn't deserve her murder attempts. -YURI IS MY BOY. Instantly a favorite when the DLC dropped and Three Hopes made me love him more. -I knew Constance or Yuri would be the #1 spot. She's one of my favorite female characters in the game, period.

I love that in the discussion of worst dads in three houses almost no one brings up Lord Bartels, probably because his fate is sealed before the game starts and because Jeriza is only in the black eagles route AFTER the time-skip (and that's IF you have the dlc) but after seeing his and Mercedes's complete support chain. No supports either to give some character interactions. 8:48 DLC2 Death itself that is just as deadly with his personal scythe and in 3 Hopes, the sacred weapon: Tathlum Bow. 15:25 #4 don't bother with axes and associated classes unless it's the Bolt Axe. 22:24 #3 he's not all muscles since swords and magic makes him a herculean Mortal Savant. 29:22 #2 speed can't be matched but don't give him anything mounted. 36:01 #1 what's harder: not loving this woman or her blows delivered with Aura Knuckles?

@@blaa6 Lorenz has ridiculous HP, respectable def, great res and decent attacking stats on both side. as a Dark Knight he can use lances to hit fairly hard, use his decent magic pool or use Frozen Lance for some big damage. His dex isn't even that bad either. He's not great anywhere else but i'd still put him above Ignatz and Leonie at least.

Early playthrough i used them a lot but on my later ones i just stick to the main house units with warp and rescue units as my main bulk to help me solo or reach the boss on turn one.

Biggest highlights: Death Knight hallway scene. Doubly so as Rhea and Company have referred to Edelgard and co as Rebels and Scum though I don’t think they ever used Rebel Scum. Anyone else Edelgard has Princess Leia Hair buns post time skip? Just saying she’s really owning the line there. Hapi just nicknaming Rhea Bitch. I am all for it. This shit is why she’s one of my preferred Dimitri pairings. And top spot to her ladyship Constance being ranked best girl of the Ashen Wolves; delightfully smashing. I am still mad Dark Flier isn’t in three hopes. I would have let her win the chapter with Ferdinand and Lorenz…. But Billy Kametz was amazing and I simply cannot take the title of noblest of nobles away from Ferdinand von Aegir. I so wanted Ferdie to win CYL this year but sadly our valiant nobleman only made it into the top twenty.

Byleth, Edelgard, and Petra carry the entire team on their shoulders in all of my playthroughs (I always play maddening), but hot damn you bet your ass Jeritza can really wreck some shit and then some when you need him to.

Yeah Jeritza is pretty busted no matter which class you pick for him, though mastering death knight for counter attack feel so wrong yet so right.

I’d also like to add that, while Lysithea and Constance both share the 60% magic growth, Constance‘s real magic growth is more like 78%, bc all her other growths are so bad, and 3H has a mechanic in place for most characters that forces them to gain at least 2 stats per level up (there are exceptions, being a lot of the church characters. I know Manuela is one of them, being capable of getting nothing on a level up. I think the stat growth minimum is only for students, if I’m remembering correctly). Basically, Constance is the mother of min-maxing lmao. We all thought it was Lysithea for a while, but she actually has great dex and speed

here is my ranking 4) -Charles- Yuri I know he is a pretty boy but something about his face is very punchable. still he is an interesting character to analyze as he loves his mother and has unwavering faith in the Goddess regardless of the blood on his hands. he is just very annoying to me. his Three Hopes supports redeemed him a lot though. → pretty good dancer. basically the Mythra of FE3H as I like to call it, but the other three are a lot more reliable than him. -I would trade timeskip Yuri's pointy-toed boots for a boob window.- 3) Constance her determination and unparalleled confidence in herself is astounding. especially considering she can be compared to characters like Dimitri in terms of what she's lost-her family, her noble title, and her land. she may be pompous, but she has a reason to be, and lets nothing stand in her way. I think she's played for laughs too much though and I wish the writers treated her aversion to sunlight with more poignancy. → literally flying Lysithea. her access to Bolting is the reason I got the DLC because training Hilda and Manuela in Reason is a pain. she has some hit issues though. 2) Hapi her blunt laid-back personality is much needed among the cast. she's not afraid to say what she thinks but is also very observant and considerate when it comes to people's emotions, as a result of having to stifle her own. plus her love of snacks and giving people nicknames is endearing. → Constance does hit harder than her but I prefer her access to dark spells and the effects they can inflict. she also crits pretty frequently... 1) Balthus the himbo of the year but he also has many insightful qualities about him. he is more intelligent than he looks despite gambling and lusting after older women all the time. he watches out for others by being super jolly and approachable, giving words of wisdom. but it can be hard to outsmart him given what life has thrown at him. → he gets hit by a considerable amount of single digit crits (I know you're unlucky Balthus but I didn't think you'd be _this_ unlucky) but otherwise bulky and strong plus a surprisingly decent evasion tank. side note: I know during the OHSHC part that Yuri was Haruhi but I would argue Balthus could also fit that role because both are in so much debt

One thing that I don't understand right now: What does Warlock give Hapi? I don't see why it would be a good choice for her to be honest. Same for Mortal Savant, except that is also quite hard to get into.

Warlock grants bow avoid and double black magic ammo, plus for most magic focus characters it's a stepping stone towards Gremory so not a permanent choice. Mortal savant boosts her speed and other physical stats if you wish to make her more well rounded while still being a magic DPS unit. Neither class are optimal but the choice is always their for experimentation.

@@LunarBoo Nope, honestly I feel they should have scrapped dark magic and moved the spells into the black magic pool while transferring the likes of Sagittae, Agnea’s Arrow and either the wind of lightning spells over to white magic, since the white magic spell pool only has 4 damaging attacks.

Here's my ranking: 4. Hapi - For the life of me, I couldn't use her well. Her magic and skill are decent enough and that's it. She never got good speed growths, and as such could never use her personal class effectively. Her supports don't exactly affect me that much, considering most of her C/B supports aren't noteworthy aside from funny gimmicks alongside spouts of discomfort. Her support with Dimitri is probably the best, but I can't bother to ship them because Dimitri already pairs well with 5 other characters better than hers. 3. Constance - Although the sun/shade personality is funny at times, Constance has got to be the single most extra voiced character in Fire Emblem, and considering the competition of Lorenz, Clair, and Mae, that's saying a lot. Her combat is okay in her preferred class, but her supports I didn't really care for. 2. Yuri - One of the two Ashen Wolves I decided to bring into my main team. Yuri's HR easily allowed him to traverse terrain easily. He had a good variety of magics (mostly wind and light), and his stats weren't lacking in anything. Usually Yuri doesn't make less than top 2 in any Ashen Wolves list and it's pretty easy to see why. 1. Balthus - I swear, nobody likes Balthus, and it's kinda easy to see why. He flirts with women, drinks to excess, gambles his money away, and beats up people and tax collectors. If there's one thing I do like about all this though, is that his supports make it seem like he has genuine fun all the time, due to his reputation as well as his muscles. And then you peal his layers and find that he finds pleasure in the fact that his lifestyle keeps him away from a leadership position he knows and believes he doesn't qualify for. Although, I do wish he had some type of growth in which he could go back and reclaim it, but I think it works in the context that he believes his brother deserves it more and can lead their house better than he could. He may seem rough on the outside, but he's honestly really humble when it comes down to it. Gameplay-wise, I'll admit, Balthus does fall flat. His best class is the War Master, but that'll take some work, and in the meantime, he'll be relying on his grappling skills to get the job done. Luckily, he gets his HR pretty quick and can decimate opponents. I'll always use him in my playthroughs.

Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed it, also I haven't completed BOTW or even played tears of the kingdom, so characters from those game I don't have much of an opinion on, but if I were to pick a best Zelda girl it would either be Skyward Sword Zelda or Adult Malon from OoT.
