I decided to a couple years ago to call time on all the cheap android boxes and invest in an Nvidia Shield best thing I ever did...updates all the time to fix bugs or just to freshen up the system unlike the cheap boxes no updates from once you get it plus all the main streaming apps work at the full 4K level unlike the cheap boxes where none will work at 4K for Netflix, Prime etc the other great thing about the Nvidia Shield you can play top quality games ...keep up the good work my man

It is the best route. The Firestick 4K is also good, but not the 'horsepower' of Nvidia. I have a 3rd box a Mecool Pro L which used to come with Android TV. 3 Gig Ram 32 Gig Rom. It is also a great box.

I have the original running for 2 years now. They’re resilient devices and as long as you keep up in the maintenance they continue to work great. Do you power off or go into sleep mode ? Also gave you changed the launcher ? Bored thinking of looking for one

Hey FreeTech great videos love your channel! I am using a firestick 4k too but I also have a Minix U22-xj. I'd love to see you review this device and see what you make of it. For myself I only use it for streaming. Doesn't have 4k netflix or prime video so for the price I think most would go with Nvidia but I've been with Minix boxes for several years now and they do last a long time with updates

I use the new Nvidia Shield Super Black Mambo Dildo Stick, Nvidia provide great software support, it’s fast, but can be buggy. The remote is excellent though. Overall it provides a nice fast smooth experience and will be well supported with updates for several years. The Netflix button is a bit too sensitive though, you could change it but if you use a Netflix that would be silly.

Got T95Qs in each bedroom, and GT King Pro in living room. Love the Pro, but my only gripe is the power supply won’t power two external drives. Got a 4tb movies drive and a 2tb tv shows drive, and I can only use one of them on the Pro. Other than that, totally awesome box.

I looked at the Nvidia Shield Pro but the Specs were not as good for the same price.

2017 Nvidia Shield. Absolutely brilliant bulletproof. I've added a 64Gb USB drive so loads of storage. With Real Debrid and Kodi I can watch anything with zero buffering. It was expensive but I think worth it.

Hi, Great videos. Can I ask a question? I have a 2 year old MX10 box, 4Gb Ram, 32Gb memory, Android 8. I tend to watch shows and some movies. Would these new boxes be a genuine improvement or just more of the same (I don't have a 4K TV, happy with HD). If so which price point should I go for to feel a real difference 1,2,3,4 or 5. I know Android Mobiles make a worthwhile leap in technology every 2 years but not sure about Android boxes. I got the mi box s and i am very satified with it. It even playes 4K 60 frames without stuttering. The only game that stooped at a certain moment was real racing 3 because there wasn't enough memory. But there are lots of other racing games that works just fine. The shield comes out always as the best but its also three times the price of a mi box. I put a splitter in my usb port and do have now 3 ports wich are working perfect. The splitter costed me 94 eurocents.

Can't be bothered with boxes no more, 4k firestick is better than most, especially when you can add extra usb drive etc, and with Amazon doing a deal on it at £29.99 is a bargain, or the fire cube at £79.99 is the better option of you have the extra cash.

Was using a t9 box with the rk3328 was cheap and cheerful. Now got another t95 with the h616 and it seems a bit faster but again cheap as chips and performs all I need with Kodi and apps 😉

I’ve had my Nvidia Shield box for the last 3 years and it’s the dogs bollocks. Also makes a cracking gaming emulator. I use Retroarch to play all the Arcade, Sega and Nintendo games. Reliving my youth. I watch all my 4K content through this and my LG OLED tv and is awesome. I used to have a Zoomtak box and nearly blew up when I tried streaming 4K through it 😂😂😂

I actually bought the x96 air. Still got it as I was told not to bother returning it. Whenever I installed anything on, I'd get a pop up in chinese with the soundtrack jaws playing in the background! 🦈🦈🦈😂😂😂 spoke to them and they said it was a test page??!! Couldnt get it off! Personally I thought it was DOGSHIT! soz adam. 😂😂 back to my trusty firestick.

Still in 2020. T95q, A95x Max are running great for non. Certified devices. Other than those I think mecool Km2 cane in and smashed the x96, mi box (certified like the Km2). In my opinion I’d even say Km2 over fire stick. No adapters necessary and only 68$ with awesome remote. As far as bee link. Or any s922x devices. You can’t get them under 100$ usually 150$. And at that rate your better off with grabbing nvidia. ESPecially if it’s not certified I don’t see the point In Buying the gt king / pro etc. without certification. (Again just my opinion as well ). Shield number one I use 2 of them. N instead of fire stick I use the Km2 in the bedroom for strictly streaming.

I like the Mi Box s 4k Ultra Hd, it runs Great but just wish it had a USB to TV power cord so when you cut the Box off when you cut your TV because some times it gets to freezing and I have to unplug the box at Startup.
