I do love beast mode fragrances. I have always wanted to try Nishane with Oud and Musk? Sounds wonderful. I really want to try something from Dusita. I have heard some very good things about the house. Victor Wong has some very interesting scents. Great lit, Yana. Thank you.

Have you smelled The Night by Frederic Malle? It reminded me of a shed full of cows. That was terrifyingly animalic to me. The scent of the bovines, including their flatulences and excrements. Real oud for the meager price of 650€ for a 50ml bottle. The synthetic stuff actually smells much more pleasant. I am thankful to the sales associate who convinced me to smell it just so I could get my nose on genuine oud, despite me making it clear I could not afford such a fragrance in the foreseeable future. I probably have to revisit it at some point because while it was repugnant at first it also had an alluring quality to it. It might be an aquired taste. But where would I wear such a fragrance? I would be afraid to get laid off or expelled, would I ever wear this to work or college...

Civet is not one of my favorite, I love resins and “amberish” notes but I will buy a sample of all that you mentioned just because I trust you completely when it comes to fragrance. Thank you 🙏

Since you don't seem to shy away from unusual/complicated or even somewhat masculine scents have you tried Musc Ambre Gris? It's very, very ambergris forward, kind of woodsy and marine instead of the more usual floral, musk or amber scents.

I don't get what the fuzz is when people say Jean Desprez Bal a Versailles is, to me it smells clean and natural, i do get a little hint of animalic but only HOURS after when the scent dries down way past the point where you can barely smell it. I LOVE animalic scents :)

good question. Well, Oudh Infini is a very special perfume and it is extremely animalic so it really depends, if woman like intensely skanky oud scents or not. I personally LOVE it but I think I am an exception

@@Tommelise I am a woman, I love animalics oud's yet I tried Civet from the Zoologist I washed my hand so fast! However I just recently ordered two samples of Oud Infini because lately, I became obsessed with a Guerlain oriental that has a civet/oudh/rose/musk accord and it is absolutely addictive, energetic testosterone inducing even though Im a girl so I will try Oudh Infini for sure!

I’m not a huge fan of These types of fragrances beaver from zoologist is about as far as I can go I really love this fragrance. I tried oud infinity to be honest I almost threw up.I also have a sample of hyrax I haven’t tried it yet but I am looking forward to

For me Cuir de Arabie by Montale is a very different perfume. You should also try the Indian Attar perfume brand Imaad Perfumes. They have very niche animalistic perfumes. Try to get Suefi by Imaad. www.imaadperfumes.com Very oriental and typical Oudh from Assam and Cambodia, these are a big hit in Middle East. You need to train your nose to like such very realistic animalistic perfume. Please give a feedback after trying that out.

Dzing! (musky civet) Ambilux (spicy urine) Molinard Cuir (real leather) Oud Wood Intense, Layton Exclusif (gasoline) Similar to Afrika Olifant, but without the dirty civet. Non of these are fecal/dirty/barnyardish.
