The physics in Horizon is fine. It's the map. The roads are ridiculously wide even the tightest city road still feels like 4 wide line. FH with realistic road width would already be more than enough for an open world arcade game.

@@radityaindera3442 Yes Horizon is a great arcade racer, but I want something more like a sim like AC, AMS2, etc. So again like I first mentioned, something open world like Horizon or the Crew, but with more realistic driving physics.

I live near High Force and I've driven those roads IRL, the detail is incredible and still my go to for a night drive in light rain. You say it doesn't have traffic but the one I downloaded does, it's not perfect like they sometimes get stuck in very tight parts but 90% of the map is great for realistic overtakes on the back roads. I can't remember where I got it but I didn't have to go hunting for a special AI version, it was just like a a standard release available to everyone. Just go in track day and add cars to opponents.

Drove it last week, the route from Hawes to blanchland via Buttertubs, the Stang, Barnard Castle, and Stanhope is amazing! Hartside (when it isn't full of traffic) is special too, although that wouldn't link as well as the above to the High Force Loop.

Can you change the traffic on these maps, to drive on the opposite side of the road? It would make these maps more popular, as I for one wouldn't bother with the ones that drive on the opposite side on the road than what I'm used to in RL... And I doubt I'm the only one like that.

Another excellent video about my favorite type of track in AC, Free Roams. I really want to get the Glenn Shiel track. The link you shared brings me to the Assetto World site. However, unless you pay for an upgraded account (it might be worth it, I don't know) your SOL getting the track to download without ads and dubious web pages and links. Does anyone now of another reputable website that I can download this track from? Race Department, I mean OverTake only has the added AI Traffic mod but not the huge track download. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
