The aroma of peat burning is something I carry home after every trip to Ireland and the taste in the whiskey brings it back, I also believe it is in a reasonable price range, Go Raibh Maith Agat :)@@whiskeyisajourney

New to your reviews but the Sagamore PX Sherry finished Rye is one of my favorite pours! Redbreast 21 and Yellow Spot! Cheers!

I do enjoy your channel as if offers a different viewpoint. Since I havy only had two Irish Whiskeys I will list those two. I have had the Redbreast 12 year cask strength and the Powers John's Lane, also a 12 year. These are very favorful and very interesting. I enjoyed them both.

Nice flight Peter! I was hoping the Redbreast 15 would show up, that’s probably my favorite Irish whiskey, but now you have me curious about the Red Spot 15.

Red Spot is much different from the Redbreast 15. Having them side by side the Redbreast 15 is much sweeter. Two completely different whiskeys, but in my opinion worth a try if you never had it. DO NOT OVERPAY. I did and regret it.

Nice video, Peter! Used to think Redbreast 12 was the bees knees, but after buying a lot of other Irish Whiskeys..... it's not that great, at least not at this point in my journey. (see what I did there!) Jameson's Black Barrell, Bushmills Black Bush, Sexton, Writers Tears Copper Pot, are all at least as good, and cheaper, at least here in Ontario, Canada. But to be fair, I have not tried any of these, as most are not available, or are out of my price range. Keep up the great info!

I've returned two bottles to Total Wine. One was leaking and the other tasted like turned milk. Got store credit for both.

Even if I could do that I wouldn't. There is nothing wrong with the bottle. It's just not my jam. I am curious if other batches taste different, but I'm not willing to pay to find out. They are "enriched" with ruby port casks so I am amazed I don't like it. Oh well.

I would not hesitate to return "bad bottles", but not bottles I did not like.

When the red spot came out, I bought it for around $115/$120. I wouldn't buy it at today's price.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful selection Peter. I already have 4 out of the six bottles and the only change I would make is with the 6th one. I would much rather have a 21 year old Knappogue Castle matured exclusively in ex bourbon casks. Beautiful whiskey..!!! 🥃

The Knappogue Castle 16 that I have is fantastic and I can only imagine how good the 21 would be. You just put me on the hunt. Cheers!
