Hey Mark, I'm currently in bangkok and for breakfast I went to the first restaurant you went to in this video and it was delicious oh my goodness I was sad when the meat was done but was fully satisfied and filled to the brim. I showed them your video and then when I finished eating, I took a picture with the lady that prepares the dishes. It was an awesome experience eating beef hot pot for breakfast. Thanks for the suggestion on the restaurant. They were all joyful and full of smiles 😁. Top notch food and service.

I have watched many Mark Wiens Bangkok food videos. The difference between his videos and other food bloggers' videos is his infectious cheerfulness introducing and eating the food. Plus his friendly interaction with the hawkers/food vendors in their native Thai. It makes the videos lighthearted and enjoyable to watch.

In my opinion the fact that Greg is filming and editing this is amazing, it changes the style of your video, changing the format from a food and travel diary to a tv food program. It would be amazing if you still keep this style of filming (greg holding the camera) And you holding the camera (vlog style) Nb: you can really see that Greg knows how to work the camera, how to frame the shot, how to capture the moment

@@ankicat3425 There're many non-spicy food in Thailand, just don't follow the guidebook. My favourite choice would be (sorry if the spell isn't quite right), pad-see-ew (dry noodle with pork and kale), moo-kra-team (pork fried with garlic and pepper, usually served with rice or you can ask them), mas-sa-man (kinda muslim curry, must try), or just simple fried rice like kao-pad-moo (fried rice with pork, you can change to chicken or what ever they had, just ask them). Almost all of our food has strong taste because they meant to eat with rice, except the one with noodle. If you find it too spicy, you can tame it down with rice. would be happy if you can try and review all of those ;)

Single dish menu - No 25, 41, 86, 87, 96, 72 Light meal - No 63, 31 Restaurant-base menu - No. 11, 12, 51, 52, 57, 12, 50 To eat with spicy food you can add No.27 (or any fry menu / oily menu) as additional dish - this is my magic against spicy food. It helps a lot when you want to clear spicy-burn taste off your tongue. just take this oily menu as your next bite with rice, so you can take another bite of delicious torture. Hope you enjoy.

Really loved this collaboration. Mark you're always engaging and love seeing you share Thailand and the world through your lens. This was cool change of pace to just watch you eat and enjoy; not having to worry about filming. Greg's cinematography is excellent, and I subscribed to his channel as well. One of my favorite of your videos for sure

The amazing part of this video is he literally ate it like Thai people. As a Thai, I’m so satisfied and enjoy watching his show.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I love your videos, Mark! Thank you so much for the entertainment, and education! As an American 'look krung" myself, you really made me miss the tastes of Thailand, but I felt like I was there with you! I TOTALLY GET THAT LOOK on your face that Greg referred to. Thai food isn't just food- it's an experience! I also loved when he expressed how beautiful he thought the sparks coming from the fire were-- it's those moments that resonate with me too-- how the process of Thai cooking is so stunning and can make us feel so humble and alive. Great work. Looking forward to taking my family to Thailand one day and hitting up all the places on your list.
