Hey NutriX! Great video my friend, I would say that for me the best iOS drum apps are DrumComputer and GR16, because of the MultiOutput and AUv3 capabilities. 🎉

Hello! Is there an app like a dr880 that has many styles of music patterns that I can use and edit. I’m trying to learn about drum programming and really need to see pattern examples. An app that has pre-made patterns of many music generes will be dope for me at this moment. Any idea of such app? 🤘🏻😀

I have to tell you somethings about Seekbeats because it’s my favourite and you missed the new EFX board which really adds something special because you get crazy very tweakable effects that you can add to each drum. Also in the drum edit view, any slider that you double tap, if it gives you a double ended slider then that will be adjustable in the sequencer for each note , not velocity. The double slider handles sets the range editable in the sequencer by sliding each note up and down. So that and the EFX board. GOOD VIDEO. Thanks again. Your videos are excellent.

Wow! Seekbeats is even cooler than I knew!!! Great Thanks!

Nu-Trix The Synth Guy I had to explain because Seekbeats is not obvious. Now I will really blow your mind. Try double tapping any note spot in the sequencer and see what you get. Also the mute group concept is adjustable for each drum to drum. Its nuts.

Totally agreed! And I'm so glad I got the EFX. What was already awesome became EPIC! :D Recently I was driving some jazzy patterns from Soft Drummer into Seekbeats! Boy, that was groovy :D

I will try that with funk drummer or soft drummer. Thanks for the idea

Hello and thank you for the nice tips and advice! Which app would you choose for making drum and bass, jungle beats in iPhone/ iPad?

Are you looking for the option of sample and synthesis? Or just synthesis?

@@Nu-trix synthesis.. I own a korg monologue and a monologue xd. And I was thinking of using an app for drum loops in order to get some drum and bass sounds, as close to jungle as I can get

I had been wondering for awhile what the name of Seekbeats was after seeing it first come out a couple years ago. I'm going to see how long I can wait for it to go on sale though, since the last time was a year ago. Glad I came on here looking for some Elastic Drums inspiration :) Cheers!

This is a whole new way of working for me is it possible to hook up the iPad to other midi equipment externally and sync it together Just as if it was another piece of midi hardware?
@Nu-trix6 жыл бұрын
Yes. You can use a Bluetooth interface or a USB midi interface.

It has been an issue this week. I saw some post about it. I’m not sure if it is a bug or if the developer has just stopped offering it?

question: which is the ipad drum machine that work with the beatsteppro? i.e.: the ielectribe accept just play/stop and bpm by the beat steppro, but you can't trigger sounds.

The BSP send MIDI and CV info. So any drum machine (Hardware or software) can be played from the BSP pads.

I bought both the DM1 and DM2, paid for both of them, but then when they split their business i had the DM2 license removed from my account, my money for the DM2 down the drain ... not fair for the customer. DM2 licenses should simply be transferred to the new company, why should i pay for it again? Bad , unfair customer treatment.

ok I am new to ipad music creation and am getting into because of your & other peoples video's on them. I was wondering if I can use the synth's on them standalone and control them like a real synth in say ableton live or another DAW but I use ableton. ?
@Nu-trix6 жыл бұрын
If you want to control the iPad synth from Ableton live you have 2 options: 1- you add a MIDI and audio interface to your ipad and use it as an external synth. 2- if you have a Mac, you connect your iPad to your Mac and you can send en receive MIDI and audio between then. I demo it in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGHHaqeblLqUa68

Issue is DropBox, the developers who isolate users into paying for dropbox don tell you they are making money off this., instead they avoid Google Driver which is min 15 free GB!

I’ve owned a series of real-world drum machines over the years and it’s surprising how incapable their software competition still is today (mostly in terms of subtlety of playing, ability to get a “human feel” out of them and their inherent limitations with time signatures. 4/4, 3/4 and 6/8 time signatures are boring.
@HotStrange2 жыл бұрын
I’m guessing you haven’t used many software drum machine then. Or this is the first and only demo you’ve ever watched about them. Because I’ve owned a lot of hardware drum machines and a lot of plugins and hands down the plugins are more capable.
@meru_lpz2 жыл бұрын
I would recommend you have a look at DrumComputer. Its sequencer allows for humanized timing, polymeters, running each lane at a different rate... you can def do time signatures like 13/8 and put that against some triplets in another time signature... And the sounds can have subtle variations in timbre using the random modulation source. Also worth checking out is Ruismaker Noir, the mutate function is really great for introducing variation in the articulations and the rhythm, so it sounds less "robotic" though its timing only allow for swing (its more meant towards techno) Though of course the most flexible solution would be to write a mozaic script that emulates the kind of feel you want, and patch that between the midi source and sound source
