Important to note: weapon perks that proc off damaging enemies such as Bait and Switch and Target Lock do not work on Threshers. You can still get Bait and Switch off other enemies first and then use it on the Thresher (6:28). Originally I had Target Lock on Speleologist but since it requires consistent damage on the target itself it can never work, so I switched it to Surrounded. Surrounded procs based off surrounding enemies therefore it can be used on Threshers and is a much larger damage buff (47% compared to 20-45%) with no ramp-up. Target Lock does work on Tanks and potentially other vehicles as well so it's not a complete loss but generally speaking the buff is too unforgiving and slow to peak. Also improtant to note: in order to get Deconstruct going you must do consistent damage for a couple of seconds and continue to do so within a 5 second refreshable timer to keep it up, therefore it does require a level of commitment or else you will never proc Deconstruct (or you will lose it.) You can also proc Deconstruct pre-emptively on any other type of target(s) first and then focus the vehicle so that the first few shots are also benefitting from the buff instead of working towards acquiring the buff. Palmyra-B: I realize now I could have shaved potentially 1 or 2 seconds off by using Ambitious Assassin since it was a 2-shot kill however Marksman's Dodge was close enough to pushing that second rocket out in nearly as good time - and as far as scaling into GMs, PB may require an additional shot anyways so it's not realistic to expect a 2-shot kill for certainty. All other weapons in this test were single-mag kills most often with ammo still left in the magazine. In essence, PB falls off slightly if it requires more shots compared to the other weapon types with larger magazines and faster reload times.

The crucible comp pulse (belisarius-d) can get deconstruct, vorpal, and hakke all together so it's also viable if you need special/heavy ammo for something else. I think it's also the only primary weapon with that combo

What about the Veleda-F sniper Rifle with his UNIQUE TRIPLE DAMAGE PERKS? Deconstruct + Withering Gaze + Hakke = +70% damage.

@@MeanMachineRAF I tested about 20 weapons initially and I did test Veleda with Decon and its not bad but I still dont have WG on it. It would actually be an 85% buff over base (1.4 x 1.15 x 1.15 = 1.85) so even better! I have Decon and Firing Line on mine.

@@MeanMachineRAF It took me almost 20 seconds with only Deconstruct, and I didnt have marksmans dodge on. I bet You can get it down to 14 seconds or so.

There a lot of weapons, especially primaries, that do good damage vs thresher without hakke or deconsruct. Malfeasanse, Final Warning(shooting cannon), revision zero sniper mode, ager scepter super mode, graviton lance, bastion but the goat is Parasite with worm hunger x10 or more. Next time try Palmyra with explosive light

@@SilentKyll If do an exotic variant of this video I will make sure to test those. Used to have EL on PB but I changed it a while back so that it would be a good swap-to rocket with an immediate buff for taking down the Briggs in OG Onslaught. 5% less dmg but no requirements.

I use legend of acrius on the gm it one shots the threshers you just have to jump and get close enough to hit it.
