I cannot consume preservatives and additives. When I first developed this disorder(vestibular migraine) and I had to cut all of these plus other foods out of my diet. So when going to the store for the first time I broke down because everything they sold was pretty much poison to me. I had to stick strictly to fresh veggies, some fruits, and fresh cut meats. It’s horrible how the U.S. food is so toxic, while other counties such as London have way less ingredients and are way healthier. Wish we had more natural food.

@Carrie Bateman, @Lizzie Beth hit the nail on the head. The only requirement a natural flavor has is that it starts out with something that occurs in nature, such as a strawberry. But manufacturers can take that strawberry, bombard it with any number of chemicals, and turn it into who knows what. Since there are no disclosure requirements regarding natural flavors, we have no clue what we might be eating.

Good morning Bobby & Brad from the beautiful & cold State of Arizona, (I live in the mountains). I would like to thank you & Brad for the wonderful videos that take time away from your family's to educate your subscribers & our friends, you know they don't listen to us, at all! When I put your KZbin channel on and my friends are over here for animal rescue meetings or planning a transport for animal rescue, (There is a running theme here. I've been rescuing animals for 46+ years.) I get to educate them in a different way so it doesn't feel like I'm pounding them over the head with what to eat + what to avoid. My cancer has come back. I'm on the alkaline diet again, so with ya'lls help & knowledge, I actually, vicariously through you & Brad, get to educate my friends on the benefits of eating properly to improve their health. I would like to ask ya'll if you could do a video on acidic/sugary diets & how it feeds cancer cells. Thank you again so very much for taking time away from your families to help others learn how to avoid the bad products & find the good products that nourish your body. Sincerely, Mary Pat and The Extraordinary Eight Rescue Animals!❤🐾🐈🐕🐕😺😺🐶🐶🐶😁

@Lizzie Beth I truly appreciate all of the wonderful information. I have a master plan that involves working with several doctors in the homeopathic and naturopathic fields + I personally have doctorates in homeopathic and naturopathic healing. I've also studied multiple ways to treat this because this is my fourth go-round with cancer. Ironically, it's only showed up in the same place twice which is my liver & my pancreas. I quit drinking coffee & tea a very long time ago unless it's cold brewed because that takes out 76% of the acid. Since acid feeds cancer (just like sugar) & alkaline does not, I usually am sporting a protein shake (cafe latte) or adding unflavored protein to anything I can get my hands on. Laparoscopic gastric bypass in 2006. L4 & L5 fusion in 2007. It has been a very long journey but I'm very determined. I am a LEO with a very determined spirit + I do not plan on leaving this planet anytime soon! There is still much animal rescue work to do, more fishing to get in and the Extraordinary Eight (my rescue kiddos) before it's my time to cross over! I am truly grateful to all of you who have replied to me personally + in the comments section. Thank you so very much for being such a great community. ❤🐈🐕🐾

@joeldickau2 жыл бұрын
@@That_one_guy_with_a_gym Totally agree. The idea that any one of these ingredients is uniquely harmful is misinformation, full stop. These are all highly regulated food additives that have undergone rigorous scientific analysis since the 1958 passage of the FDA Delany Clause. Food additive manufacturers have to jump through incredibly expensive hoops to prove that food additives don't directly cause harm to human bodies. In 1969, the non-caloric sweetener cyclamate was banned by the FDA because in ludicrous quantities injected subcutaneously into rats it was possibly a source of cancer - quantities and in a manner of consumption that no human could ever replicate. So the rules governing food additives are incredible strict. Of these listed, monosodium glutamate (msg) is the crystallized version of glutamic acid, which its naturally occurring in many foods like cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and cured meats and provides a delicious savoury flavour - it was first prepared from seaweed in Japan in 1907. Carrageenan is an Irish Gaelic word for the sea grass that grows along the Irish coast, which because of its plant chemistry has the unique properties of thickening water into a gel. It has been used in food for centuries - indeed, it was a commonly collected household ingredient for making puddings in Ireland. Many of these ingredients - thickeners, plasticized vegetable oils (aka shortening), flavour additives - are actually available in high end stores for use in haute cuisine or in gluten-free baking (another health scam.) Don't let this guy lead you down the rabbit hole. The problem with the food system is not any specific ingredient. The problem is that convenience foods like the Doritos, Redi-whip, and pre-sliced deli meats shown here are formulated to be incredibly addictive by using high quantities of salt, sugar (or sweeteners), and fat. It is overconsumption of these foods because they satiate our plates and provide immense pleasure that leads to what were once called diseases of affluence and are now more likely diseases of poverty: diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and certain types of cancer. So scrap the idea that this or that additive is harmful and focus on transitioning one's diet to foods prepared from scratch. Eat plenty vegetables and other high fibre foods like beans and whole grains. Reduce meat and dairy intake to the point that is provides flavour and texture. And then occasionally snack on highly processed foods without worry because if they're not the cornerstone of your diet then they are not intrinsically harmful.

What's also bad is BHT TBHQ BHA EDTA, I can't even eat it or use it on my skin because I get anaphylaxis every time I use or eat a product with those chemicals. So I stopped right away and decided to use head and shoulders because there's no EDTA and it's best shampoo for my hair. I think that any shampoo brand doesn't work for everyone. I read lots of information to buy a product that works for me and the science behind it is that we have different kinds bacteria and scent from or natural bodies too.
