Completely agree with everything except the lift and tires. If it's what you want it's ok, but once you change tires and suspension geometry all legal hauling and towing capacities are null and void. Even as a dealer option, aggressive tires will knock as much as 2000 lbs off of the rating. Lots of interesting tidbits in the small print. In that generation of truck, the only way to get the advertised tow rating was to get the 8 foot bed.

To be fair, if you don’t have the lift, your not putting 35’s on it which is number 4 on your list. You also bought the truck, so at least part of you does like it. You could have just passed on it for a different one. Side note, I wouldn’t bring my truck to a car wash anyways, they do a crap job for something you can do better for cheaper on your own

Truth. I started with a leveling kit when I added the bigger wheels. Just jacked the control arms till they rubbed the frame. Had to go with the 4” BDS. No other option.

@@davidhowerton1553 My 2004 I put a rough country level lift with 33x12.5 and it looked great. Hurt the gas mileage for sure, but you aren't driving a 20 year old truck with a V8 for good gas. Just turned her in for a 2015 with less than 40k miles and gonna be looking at lifts soon. Looking at a 4 inch as well
