Maybe the reason why tony only get 1 star after killing the mayor is because Salvatore pull strings to make some sort of interference on the police frequency, making difficult to the police to know what is going on. The introduction of gta 3 shown how vulnerable is the police of liberty city to any sort of cybernetic attack. Is established than after the Colombians attacked the convoy where Claude was at, a group of hackers made sure than the police would be unable to identify what prisoners were on the convoy, reason why the police don’t put priority to capture Claude or 8 ball.

First safehouse gives you Vincenzo, second - Salvatore, and the third one, the mansion is given like that? I'm guessing that some of the money stolen by CJ is meant to be used by Salvatore to finance his security and pay some of his bodyguards to guard his mansion.. And don't forget that Salvatore Leone cannot even have gates installed outside his property which would have provided extra security for himself

Everyone knew that Sal will be taken to court at the mission. So, the cops chose a different route so that nobody would guess where they were heading towards and safely reach the court. But the Sicilians blocked all the routes which is why the van chose to follow the original way again. They wanted to go from a secret route.

I think the reason that the car wasn’t crushed after killing JD was because the police could find his body and blood in the crusher afterwards as well as the fact that it would have made the mission too easy. But yes Mickey is not very bright. He could have also suggested that Toni dump the car in the river beside the crusher and then walk or get a taxi home

I’ll say, with the mission escorting the police van with Donald Love, it can sort of make sense that they’d take a different route. If they were expecting trouble, taking a less obvious route can potentially make the journey safer unless said other route was leaked or known in some way. But obviously here they knew where he was going and ambushed him.

6:25 Perhaps it's because that the Callahan Bridge is "not finished" yet, which ironically Toni and Salvatore jumped over in the mission "Driving Mr. Leone". Guess it's the logic that the Leones thought that the bridge was under construction so they cannot cross through, except Toni and Salvatore. They should've used the Ferry to cross from Portland to Staunton Island (after Toni and Salvatore arrived at the safehouse, and the Ferry Strike is gone). Plus, the Ferry Port is also a few meters away to drive to Fort Staunton.

Maybe the prison escort took Salvatore on a strange route to make it difficult for any plans to be put into place by the Leones to break him free or any enemies to carryout an assassination. Taking a strange route would ruin any assassination or rescue attempts as no pre-planning from the Mafia would expect the escort to take such a route. Clearly they took that route just for the mission to be a pain in the ass for the player but it's fun to think otherwise isn't it. I love your videos by the way!

The real reason is because the LCPD attempted to connect Toni and Salvatore throughout 2001 but they failed to link them beyond Ma Cipriani's restaurant. So he had to keep a low profile and moved in with his Ma to avoid getting caught by the police and linking his affiliation to Salvatore after his crimes in LCS.

Number zero - Luigi's Club You see, in "Gta San Andreas: The introduction" video, which takes place in 1992, we can see Carl Johnson running around in Liberty City and we can also see the Luigi's Club, which looks exactly like it does in Gta 3. But in Liberty City Stories, the game that takes place 6 years later, in 1998, we can see that the building where the Luigi's club took place in the third game is taken over by Sindaccos and has no signs that it was originally the Leone's club.

For why they didn't crush the car. They wanted to get rid of the evidence. Crushing the car would leave quite a mess in the compactor which would be human remains. Dumping the car in the lake makes it easier to cover up. To be frank Mickey should have just snapped his neck and threw him in the trunk. Bullets are too loud and messy.

To me i think the thing is secret service for the mayor were too egoistic to call the police, they probably wanted to do the job themselves and knew if police handled this they're jobs are gone. Thats probably why no police official gets involved

my theory is maybe he was being taken to upstate liberty, pause at 11:22 there is a tunnel under the mountain near the Damn and you can see a road going left inside the tunnel maybe he was being taken there

Thank you for your interesting work! If you want my reply to some of your facts about the game: #1: The mayor was probably corrupted? Grand theft auto core value is lies, treachery & corruption. The mayor was so corrupted LCPD wouldn't care too much about him. #2: Maybe Toni is meant to make a mistake? The player has no choice of actions influencing the story after all. Besides, making mistake is human nature.

Also the hot wheels mission make no sense , tony got mad when vincenzo calls him about his car and toni said that he set him up , he said to toni the car is watched by the cops in the first place
