The baseball grenade bounces off walls more efficiently so it is much more of a tactical grenade if your opponent isn't directly in front of you

It's quite awful when you realise the bottlecap mine uses bottle caps to shred and rip at victims flesh as if anyone who has felt the edge of a bottle cap will know that they are quite sharp and I myself wouldn't want one ripping at my skin anytime soon..

Honorable mention goes to the MIRV grenade. Thankfully I have a mod that allows me to craft em. The damage number on the tin is deceiving, just like the damage number on a MIRV launcher. These things are truly devastating though they probably should not be used indoors.

I used homing beacon nukes to clear out Nuka World, and clears out the remaining survivors with Hallucinogen grenades and synth relay grenades. The combination of the grenades work very well to my surprise

I have a luck perk maxed out on this play through, which is a first for me and I have picked up 3 grenades I've never seen before. I have 2 smart grenades, 4 mini nuke and 4 mirv. I've only used them in practice with quick saves. The smart won't hurt you if you drop it at your feet,but does same damage to foes. The mirv shoots off 6 or so more when thrown for cost of one. Also found mini nuke mines, not nuka, but mini nuke. I've just started this last play at x-mas and played different than I had before. I've played it through at least a dozen times before ,but never seen these. Love the game. 2023 and at 70yrs old still gaming. Been gaming since King Kong was a spider monkey!

Fragmentation Grenades are so fun on survival setting. Throw them into a room, and EVERYONE in there dies! (granted, if you are caught in the explosion yourself, then yeah.... you're not gonna have a good time xD)

In the automatron DLC nuka grenades and mines are super easy to get using the eyebot pod. They are pretty much the only grenade I use now.

With the new survival mode, I've managed to hit lvl 76 by the time I got the glowing sea quest, granted I did play far harbor, but it's a lot more fun and better prepares me since, after all, it is survival mode

Enemies actually get tougher as you level up as far as I know, so they should always be on pa with your character's current level, especially if it's farther down south of the map. It makes no sense to encounter level 20 enemies while there are level 50 enemies before that

the worst thing about the Hallucinogen gas grenades is that it only works up to level 50, higher leved enemys are to strong for the gas grenade to have any effect on them. you can use dogmeat to duplicate more of every grenade and mine, among other things. :)

Also, might i add that wasteland wanderer buff the damage of these grenades also. it stacks with demo expert to make frag hit for 375, and plasma grenades his for 375 plus 150 ish energy damage. can get specific values of all grenades if requested

Also to be noted if you dont have time to wait for the fuse to blow, target the grenade in vats. great for making them explode above a target hiding behind cover.

There is a mod for Xbox and PC if you want unlimited HalluciGen gas canisters. The mod is called Duplicating Crate. each crate you craft has a different amount that it will Duplicate. But there is a trick to get more. If the crate makes x256 and you put 1 item in you get 256. But if you add 40 into that crate you get 10240 of that item. It will Duplicate any in game item and any DL moded items. It basically works off the same concept as the old skyrim glitch but in a craftable wooden crate.

+Tisha Licup Combat rifle with any automatic receiver, assault rifle with any automatic receiver, plasma rifle with automatic/improved automatic barrel, laser rifle with automatic/improved automatic barrel, Sub Machine Gun, Railway Rifle with automatic receiver, laser musket with automatic legendary effect, pipe rifle with automatic receiver, and that is all, things like the minigun dont count, as they only work with the heavy weapons perk, same goes for any automatic pistol, they would benefit from gunslinger. You forgot the Nuka Quantum Grenade. Nuka Cola Quantum is so easy to find in Nuka World, and the grenade has the same ballistic damage as the standard Nuka Grenade, but can actually be crafted.
