@@truetraveltreasures oddly they only care when there's noise about a "cause" , free seats to fat people isn't about making more money it's about pr - "look how progressive we are about body image". The more money comes when the charge us more because they just gave away a free seat they can'r sell. How much are fat suits?

Good for you, but if you are medium size to large sized, it could be an uncomfortable flight. I think the airlines should have a few larger seet to accommodate customers of size. What do you think about that?

@@truetraveltreasures I think it’s a great idea. But complicated. Have to reconfigure seats. I also feel bad for the tall people. They are the ones I rely on to get the cans on the high shelves at market. Thank you tall people

Extra legroom is rarely a useful benefit for large people. The key problem is always seat width. Airlines say they size their seats for the "average" passenger. But by definition, "average" means the seats will always be too narrow for almost half the flying population. Did you spend any time talking to large passengers before making this? More than half of large commercial airliners do not have that "secret" button under the armrest. Again, please do more research and make sure you verify your info with experts.

I sure did my research online and by interviewing a few crew members and there are still some airplanes that offer that button. And I did mention the fact that airplane provide extra legroom which has not much use to the larger person. Thanks for stopping by.

Your info on SW Customer of Size policy is several years out of date. Passengers can now request a second seat at check in at no additional cost. Please review your research and revise.

No. Every airline is different. But no airline is going to offer a free seat to anyone without something in it for them. That's losing money. So if 50 customer of size are on one flight and they all get a seat for free, that's 50 free seats. That does not make any financial sense.. What is your source? I heavily researched this. But I would love to know which airline does that.

@@truetraveltreasures Southwest has been accommodating plus-size passengers for more than 30 years, according to the carrier. Passengers can reserve a second seat at the time of booking and receive a full refund for that reservation. Or they can request a second seat at the gate, based on availability - copy and paste from the McInternet. Well that's me never traveling on Southwest as I subsidize people to fly on two seats and paying for one.

I bought two seats, the flight was overbooked and the FA did not assign my 2nd seat to anyone.
