Ah, awesome that you saved the cans and bottles for this wrap up. 👍 By the way, if you feel like editing your description, you forgot to list the Paulaner märzen. Loved the honorable mentions before your top five. Well done, dude. Really enjoyed this series.

Ah man, thanks for looking out. I did miss that. I'll have to toss it in. And I like doing it as well! Was nice to actually take a deeper dive into these beers. Especially since so many of them are blink-and-they're-gone.

No one has ever done a more thorough review of Oktoberfest beers. Keep up the great content.

Yes. That one never reached me in AZ in time last year. But I've been seeing it now and I've been meaning to pick it up before it's gone.

Hmm, very interesting review. As an Irish viewer, who visits the Munich Oktoberfest every two years I have to say that a lot of these beers aren't available in Europe, but as Oktoberfest only comes around once a year any review of a beer should not be based on price.. BTW as you've listed two Paulaner in the top five you really would enjoy a visit a to Paulaner am Nockerberg, an impressive beer garden next to the brewery. We enjoyed their Oktoberfest Lager this year, and despite the Wiesn not going ahead I've never tasted such a good Mass of Paulaner!! Greetings from Ireland.

Good. That's a lot more than I can find. What are you next best ones? Did you do another list this year?

Sadly, since Germany cancelled its Oktoberfest celebrations I wasn't able to find as many of the German beers this year (I think some of the usual colabs didn't happen either). I was only able to get to a few this year. But I'm ready for the holiday seasonal beers. With brewers stuck inside for months on end hopefully that means we'll see some really great beers coming out for the end of the year (because we all certainly deserve some great beers to end this year).

You & I are almost alike!! I totally agree w/ you on Benediktiner Fest Beer. Extremely smooth that you could knock back so many in a day. Another great beer is Paulaner Weisen which is now labeled as Paulaner Bier 🤷♂️ Same as Benediktiner, so good! Not exactly wheat’ish type beer though. I also enjoy Bitburger Fest Beer, Weihenstephaner Fest Beer, Iron Hill Brewery Oktoberfest. I’m trying to get ahold of Lowenbrau Oktoberfest. I’m reading that our country, USA, doesn’t have import licenses anymore to bring in Lowenbrau. Augustiner Brau & Ayinger is what I’m searching for right now. I dont find American Oktoberfest interesting…it’s just not screaming GERMAN OKTOBEFESSSSSSSSSST! I found Hacker & Spaten too foamy & coppery for my taste. Hofbrau Oktoberfest was my 1st time & then Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen. They’re good but they’re heavy on the stomach. Good luck on your search!
