Red onions are a great favorite...almost the only onion I use. So many good analogies, pro-tips & simple recipes. Adding roasted peppers with a bit of yogurt & cumin today! I appreciate you and your work so very much. Oh, and, "exercise is like plugging your cell phone into the outlet!" I needed to hear that!

Another great video, Thank you Doctor! I have colitis, so I can't/wont eat red meat! I eat all the greens you mentioned, Kale is full of iron, broccoli too! I am constantly on the move every day - Am a carer for my wife and we have garden/s that keep me busy, I walk to the centre and to my bowling club two days a week, I do around 10.000/30.000 steps a day, I eat fish most days, but stay away from farmed salmon and tuna! My wife opens all our windows first thing in the mornings, as I put my padded jacket on! We live in Scotland! We have a few plants in the house, so we are doing all the right things in our old age!

I've made so many changes over the years. All glass containers down to organic sustainable foods. My most recent change is a special small elite water filter that removes even microplastic. The pitcher is plastic, but after I filter the water, I store it in glass gallon jars. .
@nancyhynes87758 күн бұрын
Yes, glass for storage. Wide mouth jars are inexpensive. Thanks forvthe tip on the filter. I have been wondering about a filter for the washing machine to filter microplastics. Better yet buy only natural fabrics. We are killing our precious water & the life therein...and ourselves.

@fadert9454 yes, the filter is in plastic, the water passes through and collects in my glass bottles.

Great information, also cold shower or plunge specially after sauna will increase these power horses, will activate the brown fat. Also for fasting go for dry fast instead of water fast or intermittent fasting for at least 20 hours, its the real fasting for theuropatic effects. In islam its preferably to do Mondy and Thursday dry fast from dawn to dusk other than 30 days Ramadan fasting. Happy living😊

Recently an immediate family member was diagnosed with cancer with metastasis and immediately I changed out my laundry detergents and fabric softener, all the shampoos and conditioners and food containers and every piece of plastic is out of my house! I was shocked how many shampoos had toxic and laundry with toxic chemicals. Wouldn’t ya know Canada makes laundry soap I use now!

Vegetables are good but hard to digest for me. SALAD is my go to. And grass fed meat. Meat fills me up. I make ground pumpkin, almond, flax, chia, coconut oil, cocao, and honey bars. Seafood is not safe right now. Flax is best Omega 3.

Thank you for the advice. I've been practically bedbound after cytostathes and a back injury. When hearing "just take an easy half an hour walk" my heart sinks, how do you walk when standing up is a challenge. If you can walk, remember me and just do it.
@rebeccahowie6238 күн бұрын
I hear you. I am in the same position. Bedridden 24/7. As you say, even standing is a challenge. I wish you well. Not many people understand this level of incapacity.

@@rebeccahowie623 Thank you, I wish you well, too. Let's hope a way forward, if not on our feet, somehow else. You can exercise in your bed, use the parts of your body that still works. Cut carbs. As long as you have a high carb intake for fuel, your body will never have to burn fat for energy.
