Just a tip: Transports can be DarkCreed as well, so you don't need Wracks for that -1LD. A DC Transport with Trophies will gives to you -3LD itself. Great video guys! Cheers up! PS: Personally I prefer PreciseBlow over +2 attacks, those mortal wounds are amazing.

The problem with Dark Technomancers are that opposing factions with -1 dmg abilities (Death Guard) neutralize that bonus. The LD reducing abilities of Dark Creed with Incubii, Phantasm launchers, and even occasionally combat attrition tests have more of an impact.

First off, your production value on the show has really levelled up! Great work - TTT looks like a professional Warhammer channel. Second, I'm playing my first game against Drukhari tomorrow. The battle reports and combos video have been great prep to better understand the army and their tactics. I'm already worried. We'll see how my White Scars fare :S

Don't underestimate their speed. They are killer in CC. But despite that, if you so much as sneeze they'll take heavy losses. Deploy defensively in case they get Turn 1, then just shoot 'em - but depending on how good your oponent is, it could be a very tough matchup - Drukhari punish mistakes heavily, both your oponent's mistakes, and yours.

@@matthewrayner571 Thanks for the tip. I feel like White Scars are a bad match up against them as we both want to be charging and in CC... but I think that the Drukhari are deadlier in CC vs the White Scars. I'm going to try and out position my opponent.

@@nickrichie517 Poorly. Final score was 83 (Drukhari) vs 68 (White Scars). By the end of turn three, the score was tied around 50ish points each, but I got tabled by the end of turn 4, so lost out on primary points while he maxed out. We discussed the game afterwards, and there wasn't really anything that we should have done differently. The Talos are nasty with the heavy flamer - 4d6 shots is devastating against an army that wants to be in close combat. I find Drukhari have a lot of "hard" targets that are very fast. He brought 3 Venoms, 3 Raiders, and 1 Ravager. That's lots of targets that are all over the board that need anti-tank weapons and I just wasn't able to destroy them fast enough.

It's not in there. It's (somewhat unfortunately) in the War zone: Charadon supplement that was also released. It contains a bunch of Cult of Strife specific content. Much of which is amazing, but cheekly requires you to purchase an entire extra (and more expensive) book.

I love the Succubus with the Shardnet and Impaler, Dark Lotus Toxin, Prescision Blows, and Adrenalight. 6’s to wound do 3 mortal wounds, and if you bring a Realspace Raid detachment you can use an archon for the re-roll hits of 1. You would need to use Tolerated Ambition to give the Succubus her WL trait though. I have hyped up this Succubus to the other people in my club and besides being a blender lord she is now a psychological threat as well. Perfectly Drukhari!

Blood Dancer is still ky favorite warlord trait for the Trip Whip Succubus. Then there is Blenderbus herself with Precision Blows, Dark Lotus Toxin and Grave Lotus Combat drug

@@jaredgaither7768 the issue is you are S4 so the 2ish 6's to hit are good but then the 10 hits are only 5 wounds. Where as the math with 12 is 2 6's and 8 remaining hits and 5-6 wounds typically. Against T5 it's worse to be S4 and Gravis and DG are common and you want to strip wounds from them as the Mortals will happen after all other damage is dealt

Definitely running Ancient Evil Archon, Tryptich Whip Succubus (percession blows) and Prophets Haemunculus with Vexator Mask. I want my enemies fighting last as much as possible while he buffs and regenerates my Grots and blob of Wracks.

I've ran a tryptych succubus with competetive edge as a character hunter. It's really effective so long as you don't roll a lot of 1:s

Oh, and another bit about Succubus builds, the Red Grief Blood Glaive and Precision Blows is epic as well as the Tryptich Whip Succubus AND Competitive Edge. I've yet to see either one not destroy whatever they tag. In fact, I played against Custodes and the Tryptich whip dropped the Shield Captain in Terminator Armor in one go WITHOUT even rerolling the failed hits. SO strong. Probably don't even need Competitive Edge now that I think about it...

My favourite succubus is the one skari uses, that does 3 mortals to every 6 to hit. I love the cult of strife combos, too bad it's locked behind a supplement, doubling the cost of the books you need...

Combos I see: -Black Rose Archon with the Splintered Genius upgrade taking the Consummate Weapon Master Warlord Trait and Agoniser= Hits on 2s, wounds on 4+, does 2 dmg per attack, and re-rolls a failed wound. -Kabalites with Dark Lance obvious combo. -Raider with Cult of the Cursed Blade and Chain Snares= Str 8 Raider swinging with 6 attacks, hitting on 3s on turn 3. ------Bladevanes give +1 str. -Reaver Jetbike with Cursed Blade and Painbringer, and every three has heat lances and grav-talon= Str 5/ Tough 5/ fast-moving squad shooting heat lances on 3s and mortal wounds on charge. ------Bladevanes give +1 str. -Bloodbrides with Curseblade and Grave Lotus= Hitting on 2, wounding T4s on 3 with hits of 6s being AP-4.

Awesome combos. Right now i am between 2 succubus builds. A cult of strife competitive edge and triptych whip with adrenalite for 10 A + more on nonwounds. I know its 2+ hit 2+ w with the -3 ap but i feel the additonal attacks it generates edges out over the additional 2A trait. There is also a grave lotus toxin razorflail competative edge build that deals crazy number of attacks but again i think consistency with 2+ w wound rolls of the first build will beat it unless facing 1w targets. Honestly its so tough to choose. I love my red grief but the other combos are also crazy.

It's stuff like this that makes me fell less and less like the SpaceMarines in game embody their so-called Fearlessness. I am not saying Drukhari shouldn't affect leadership, but it's weird to me that most of them have similar or Better leadership than SM and all the SM get is no penalties to Attrition which let's face it with such an elite army is rarely a thing. I am glad to see the Xenos armies getting such attention and it gives me hope that things will just be getting better, I just feel like SM should be able to answer Fear effects more effectively than they do, especially when Fight-last has become so prominent thanks to this book. I have yet to see anyone win against this current codex, but I do hope in all the information there is an answer to the new Drukhari without the next codex having to come out first. This is just my two cents though, Great Video.

So this is an interesting problem because if you make space marines more fearless you basically make it impossible for any leadership based strategy to ever become a thing, especially since we have the "evil space marines" to contend with as well. Being immune to attrition modifiers already dents the value of any potential "terror" strategies and will continue to do so in the future, not to mention all the other armies that are immune to it due to a variety of reasons. Be that tyranids with synapse, sisters with miracle dice, orkz to some extend with mob rule etc.

The ignore attrition really hurt me when I tried against them with a morale-debuffing DE list. I had poisoned tongue, DC (and could have done Pray They Don't Take You Alive). With this combo, if you are below half strength, combat attrition fails on 1-4 (1-5 with the strat if I had used it). SM didn't care, and only failed on 1s. The fearless thing is difficult to balance game-wise, as are CSM fearless? Tyranids are, sisters can auto-pass with miracle dive, big blobs of boyz have ~30ld, and necrons are incredibly high leadership too. With all of this, how does a terror-focused list hope to compete if most opponents have a hard or soft counter to the strategy of their whole list?

One question about strike first/charge units and Tormentors: If a charging Keeper of Secrets is afected by Incubi Tormentors, how is this fight resolved? Tormentors and strike first cancels each other and the keeper still attacks first for the charge rule? or the tormentors cancels the charge and strike first rule? I've been searching in forums and whatsapp groups and there is no consensus, maybe you know how its intended to work :) Thxs :)

Look guys, your content is phenomenal, the videos and streams are amazing quality. But....the terrible paint jobs on Adrian's armies are pretty jarring against the commission painted armies or the beautiful graphics then showing a barely legal tournament ready paint job. Adrian is an amazing painter and I understand why they are painted the way they are but come on guys. Either get a studio army as a replacement or go through and start repainting them. This come from a place of love as you guys are amazing!

Most of these aren’t combos. They’re just good stratagems, etc. The archon is better with eternal hatred, as he’s only strength 4 with the blade, but does have a shadow field to protect him, also his blast pistol then gets better. And the incubi / dark creed combo is better if the transport with the trophies is dark creed, so you need less units... also no mention of the succubus with impaler, dark lotus and precision blows?

Given this video is weeks old, I would imagine this would have already been mentioned, but I just have to say it. You don't need Dark Creed wracks or other units to back up a raider to give something -3 leadership if the raider is a Dark Creed raider to begin with. They get the same aura as well. And I know this one has been mentioned, but Blood Dancer beats out the extra +2 attacks pretty heavily on a succubus, given each hit roll of 6 out of 10 attacks guarantees not just 2 additional attacks, but 2 more successful hits.

A bunch of the combos that I'm seeing have better variations. In particular, Morvaine's Agoniser is better on a Succubus, as regular wyches are less mobile and don't benefit from Look Out, Sir. The relic does not require the attacker to remain in melee, so, the Succubus can just retreat immediately, while keeping another unit in melee.
