damn Neal and Niskanen for Goligoski, what a steal by Pittsburgh

Goligoski was a pretty good, young Dman at the time of the deal. But it certainly was still a robbery and even moreso with history on our side to evaluate it. Thanks for watching.

It's funny that way isn't it, Jared? For 25 years the Wings were good to great and now in just two years people now just see them as they are currently. It's true that sports really is a, "what have you done for me lately?" game. Thanks for watching.

It really would be interesting considering that 5 of the 31 teams in the league weren’t around yet. Nashville was a year away from playing its first season, Winnipeg/Atlanta 2 years away, Minnesota and Columbus 3 years away and of course 10 year away from Vegas. Heck the thought of putting a major sports team in Vegas 20 years wasn’t even a reality 😄

LOL The Habs had VERY good prospects in 2007 under GM Bob Gainey....in addition of letting go McDonagh...they almost trade Price, Subban and Pacioretty for LeCavalier 😂😂😂😂😂
@TopCornerHockey7 жыл бұрын
I remember that! I remember when the debate was do they keep Halak or Price. No question Montreal has drafted well in the last 10 years, but it's a shame for them and their fans they didn't stay on track. Thanks for the comment, Felix.

Mueller was considered #1 in Phoenix in 07 over Turris?
@christiantaylor987 жыл бұрын
Alex LeBlanc if I can remember correctly, Turris wasn't NHL ready at the time.
@TopCornerHockey7 жыл бұрын
Turris was drafted 3rd overall in 2007. While some teams best prospect at the time did come from that draft, the Coyotes Mueller was still considered their best prospect. Remember Mueller was 6'2" 200lbs and scored a combined 136 points in 103 games in the WHL over his time there. He looked like a great player at the time. Thanks for watching.

Drew Stafford was the most frustrating Buffalo sabre of all time!! One game you think he is going to be the next great sabre captain and than would disappear for three weeks without a point and be demoted to the third line or was injured that trade definitely worked in Winnipeg favor Kane is now with sanjose ( thank God) and as fair as I know Tyler Myers is still in Winnipeg

TopCornerHockey I love that you include clips and you come off as completely unbiased which is refreshing. Have you thought of doing any NHL gaming videos? I’d also love to hear your opinion on trades that occur and things happening week to week on teams deemed appropriate for said week!
@TopCornerHockey7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Joseph. I have not thought about gaming videos because I don't play video games (except Resident Evil from time to time). I have had others ask me to do a weekly, "Talk Show" so to speak, but videos I currently make take me so long to research, write and build that I really don't think I'd have the time. Perhaps in the future if my channel gets up to something like 10k subscribers, but right now, I just simply don't have the time. It's a very good suggestion and I would like too, but I'm going to commit to something I don't think I could pull off. Thank you so much for your interest though.
