You are right. The rent is $1,500 per annum for a very good apartment. Rent in Nigeria is really affordable depending on your income. You also need to factor in that the cost of living here is quite different from that in the US.

It's not affordable for use earning in naira You can't call it affordable just cause it's cheap when converted to usd

@exytheboy5416 That's why there are other areas that are more affordable for your level. My baby sister is a banker and she stays around there, and she can afford that a year...and still live very fine.

Apartments range from $800 to $2000 per annum rent for a decent 3 bedroom around Tayo's residence. Buying will cost between $60k to 90k for his type of apartment.

How is that affordable?😂😂😂 Do you even know the economy of Nigeria before making that conclusion?

I love seeing your reactions every time for real. most of the things that wow you are things I dont even see as surprising then when you react like that it makes me realise that we are enjoying a lot of things here. I dont know if you understand. for example few days back I commented on tiktok under a Uk guy's post which caused a lot of arguments..I said in Nigeria we dont pay for water, its free,we get professionals that sink boreholes for every singles buildings to supply water, he was surprised and he said he's sure the water is not clean then I said its clean drinkable water and these Uk people were surprised and it made me wonder and realized that we enjoy a lot of things in the country despite the problems we face you know.

We drink the borehole water in our family house in the city; it's very clean, we brought water technicians and they said it was very drinkable. Best thing is it's absolutely free water 😂

Koch (pronounced as kock) chairs are lounge chairs designed by Mogen Koch. People usually use the name of the designer to refer to them rather than calling them lounge chairs. Thank you.

no you are not missing a decimal point bro...rent here is cheap relative to the US. we pay per year then enjoy until next year before paying again. the agency fee, legal fee and rent fee you saw on that site is to be accumulated then paid before moving into the apartment as a person renting it for the first time, then the following year you just only pay the rent fee and continue paying just the rent fee every year until you decide to move out.

You're right, its $1,500/year. Thats about NGN2.2M/year. Exchange rate is crazy over here
@ejimazor54482 ай бұрын
You're right, the rent is $1500, but you need to add the caution deposit,the legal fee and the service charge to make up full rent per annum (year). Rent is mostly made annually in Nigeria.

Nice apartment. However, the art could be better. It has a hotel feel. Especially, I wouldn't place three pieces of the same size symmetrically.

Yes. The rent for that whole apartment can't be more than $1500 to $2000 USD a year. And that apartment sales wise can't be more $65k to $70k total. Living in Nigeria is dirt cheap.
@Onenaijagirl3 ай бұрын
Sorry, what conversion rate did you apply. Housing is more expensive now, in case one needs to make an informed decision. The location of the apartment matters, so I think your figure is grossly understated for a house of that size. Much smaller houses cost more for rent these days.

You can't determine the size of the pool by just looking from the video unless you know the dimensions. Don't criticise.
@charlesemeka36463 ай бұрын
They are right in their judgement, that pool is damn small if you look at it from the US standard. It looks exactly like a shared up Jacuzzi I guess.
