why would anyone think the answer to the sens' problems is an aging defenseman with a 10m cap hit who doesn't play defense? this is a terrible, terrible idea.

Talking about flooding in the desert isn't weird! We haven't had strong monsoon storms in the Phoenix metro area the last couple of years, but the possibility for heavy rainstorms during the summer months--and the flooding that comes with it--cannot be ignored.

For Karllson to fit in Ottawa he would need to be 3rd pairing,and above all AFFORDABLE.If the cost is too much DONT DO IT.The Tarasenko move was the worst fleecing I have ever seen. This is what I thought could work given the circumstances.Chychrun,Kastellic,Hamonic,Lassi Thomson and Korpisalo for Gustav Lindstrom D,Isaac Lundestrom F,Gibson G and a negotiated pick.Lindstrom is a fully developed RIGHT SHOT Defenceman,and Isaac Lundestrom is a fully developed center with speed.That gives Ottawa a better goalie,another right shot 2nd pairing guy,and a projected top 6 forward

if lindstrom was a 2nd pairing dman, he'd still be in montreal, rather than a ducks' waiver wire pickup. or maybe he'd even still be in detroit. also not sure if hamonic would want to go to anaheim. but honestly, i think this could work with some tweaking.

We're supposedly reaching the end of an era in a few NHL organizations this summer (Crosby in PIT, Stamkos in TB, maybe Ovechkin in Washington, teams that were dominant throughout the 2010's now embracing rebuilds and allowing other teams to take over for the time being).

I think Tilman Fertitta will likely purchase the Coyotes from Alex Meruelo and then relocate them to Houston, where they will become the Houston Outlaws and play at Toyota Center next season.

Trade Josh Norris $7.95AAV and Jakob Chychrun $4.6AAV to the Pens for Erik Karlsson and PO Joseph. EK65's cap hit is either $10AAV or still $11.5AAV? Trade Ryan Graves to the Kraken for Brian Dumoulin. Or trade Graves back to the Devils.
