1. Work straight away (don't skip your morning routine, set aside more time in the morning) 2. Hot shower (Hot showers make your morning lazy and relaxed, leave them for before you go to bed) 3. Improvise (Make your routine the same every day, every week, plan your morning) 4. Whine about work (Keep positive thoughts in the morning, this keeps you motivated) 5. Mental clutter (Keep things simple, don't think too hard about what to wear, or what to eat, etc.) 6. Hitting snooze (The worst thing to do is hitting snooze, you'll have less time, you'll feel lazier and grumpier) 7. Looking at ur phone (Increases stress, makes you more self-conscious, unhealthy)

When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from Nextlevel diet iirc). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3200 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

1. Work Straight away - Instead, take an hour that gets you motivated. Nutritious breakfast, workout, podcast 2. Hot showers - Instead take a lukewarm shower so you won’t feel tired afterwards 3. Improvise your routine - Instead set a routine in stone and get used to consistency. 4. Whine about work - Instead get yourself optimistic in the morning 5. Mental Clutter - Instead incorporate excess thinking into your morning routine, give your brain room to breathe and warm up (personal advice would be make your decision the night before) 6. Hitting snooze - (They didn’t give an “Instead” for this one so I’ll just give my advice) I tend to be a procrastinator so I set 2 alarms 15 minutes apart the 1st one gives me time to wake up and convince myself to get out of the bed the 2nd one finalizes the need / Ex: Wake up by 6am & get out of bed by 6:15am 7. Checking your phone - Instead get started on your morning routine

I have switched to a fairly short, warm shower followed by a one minute very cold shower. Since I've been doing that, my face is much smoother and since I've started rinsing my hair in cold water, my hair is thicker and shinier.

Just a quick addition for anyone interested. I agree with everything he says in this video with the exception of don’t improvise. Whenever I have a routine (no matter how simple) I always stress and it begins to work me up and I just end up quitting. Instead, I have a set time to finish everything to do at my own pace whenever, I’ve been doing this for a few years now and I’m much happier and comfortable. I am however, homeschooled so that does make it much easier for me as I’m not exactly forced into a strict routine like those who go to school are.

So I stoped beating myself up for what I can’t get done I’ve worked extremely hard my whole life. Raised 3 girls mostly single. I helped raise my step children and animals they left behind. Now , I am happy just to do me, I love me so I’m very good about saying it’s ok. Do what you want . You have earned it

a good way to face the shawer thingy is to take a hot shawer to slowly wake up and feel relaxed, and then turning it to cold to quickly wake up, the big change in temperature actually helps your circulation, and will leave you feeling awake, but its not as intimidating as a cold shawer because you know you can relax for a bit in the hot water first while you slowly wake up then youll feel more ready for the cold part rather than waking up and knowing you have to take a cold shawer right then and there

Thank you for the video! This habits are really good! When I was at teenage time I spent a lot of time checking my mail and social medias. And a lot of daytime attention were really only on my smartphone. I think it was a real smartphone addiction. Furthermore it didn't really make me happy instead I felt myself really lonely and I was always comparing myself to other people. And in this case I felt myself really bad with low-confidence and with a lot of regrets about things that I hadn't done in past. Then in that way I hadn't any will to try something, to study or to motivate myself to do something. It was a real depression. Also in that time I've read "Portrait of Dorian Gray" by O.Wilde and "Crime and punishment" by F. Dostoevsky, after that reading I went deeper to my depression. Only when I 'v tried "Before sunrise" by M.Zochenko I've found a new point of view on life. I've started look at everything in a better way and to enjoy your everyday time. Now I look back and understand how funny and stupid it was but I think it was a very important lesson for me. So I think that it's really good - not to spend your lifetime in social media. And it's really important to use less smartphone. With other habits that are in this video I do agree as well! Thank you a lot!

I used to get up at 5 a.m., grab some tea and hit the laptop (I work from home) right away so I could clock out again by 3 p.m. or so. No sleeping in, but also no morning routine. This year I decided to try some changes. I'm getting up at the same time, but not starting work till I've done my morning routine. I can't tell yet if that's worth the trade-off of having to work longer in the afternoon, but I do feel a bit more "together" when I start work.

Btw, I have tried all those tips myself 2 years ago and I was truly productive after waking up, doing exercises, having a good breakfast and a quick mild shower. At that year I got excellent at college, I became one of the first top students in my department.I also had better social interactions and good relationships with others, and most of all I was really and finally happy and confident. The year after that I stopped doing those habits. What happened?? My morale waned, I started being insecure again, and eeeeeverything started to go really wrong. I became no longer one of the excellent but the good students, I still heard them telling me 'bravo' tho haha :D Aand that's it, this was my experience doing and not doing these habits. I tuly recommend doing them, You will feel so much better about yourself. I recommend myself doing them too again. Let's do it and make our souls bloom. ;)💙😌🌊⛅🌿

I actually don't agree with the first one. I've always noticed that the early morning hours were best if I had to do (difficult) readings for university. I would always have less energy for it later on the day. Think it depends on the person / work. Also 7: you could grab your phone for a guided morning meditation.

If you have back problems, you should consider doing yoga..my lower back was in pain most of the time and I was like:"my posture is just so bad, I can't fix it"..but yoga actually helps..maybe consider doing the 30days of yoga challenge..that's where I started

@@cody2328 you should be relaxed, focus on deep breathing and take it easy..not go too far with some exercises.. maybe you are sore for a day(that's how workouts are) but if you find the right exercises, you will certainly feel better and have less tension.. and certainly go easy with the back especially.. and take it as easy and slow as possible ❤️
