7:36 It's called a slamfire shotgun, It's home made from 2 pipes with all the extra stuff just being for a better grip on it. The front pipe has the shell inserted into the rear then pulled back into the rear pipe which is bigger, sliding the front pipe inside the rear pipe has a firing pin at the rear of it which, strikes the shell and making ot fire. Considering the priest modified the nailgun maybe he was also making the shotgun. A nice little feature is that both pipes are separate in her hands, she reloads by pulling the front pipe out of the rear one, flicking out the spent shell with the front of the rear pipe and loading a new one in before closing it again.

It sounds like a game that's the start of a promising career. Good intentions, good direction, good knowledge, but just... lacking in refinement. Taking this good kind of criticism would help them make a sequel that polishes the lesser areas of their work.

Hey Nitro Rad! If you're looking for a company that has the bravery to try out different style of games, and wild mechanics, with the only consistent thing with every games being the amazing story... Second is downright lovecraft castlevania with some light souls elements mixed in. Third is a stage based twon stick shooter. 4 is a mix of zelda and sort of sekiro. I was a 90s baby and never played any videogames. I mean like, not one. Not Mario, not PacMan, I only watched my big brother play RE and SH, peeking shyly over his shoulder as a kid and pestering him to let him watch him play. I gave Red Alert a shot once when I was 15 and it made me too anxious. In short, I sucked at video games. I am 35 now, and as a lifelong horror fan, I discovered this game just a week ago when my fiance bought it for me for his Nintendo Switch. It took me a week of 8+ hours a day gameplay and as a horror movie fan and morgue/forensics/detective story enthusiast I was absolutely OBSESSED with finishing this game. I personally think it's a masterpiece in and of itself but this is coming from someone who never played any video games before. I mean this was literally my first and I honestly can't believe I was able to do it with zero gaming experience before. The story was sad and compelling at times, and no one has mentioned how absolutely GORGEOUS the music is. I'm gonna stop here cuz I could go on raving for a while. I was worried about this game at first, from the protagonist's waifu-esque design to the full frontal nudity early on, combined with the posters about breast feeding in the first area. I thought I'd stumbled into another New Vegas mod with barely hidden fetishes forced in. Luckily I was wrong, the game is great fun, a few puzzles had me stumped for a while and I'll admit to looking up a few, but it's a pretty faithful recreation of classic survival horror. Animations on the enemies could really do with some work but overall I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a new Classic RE styled game. Fuck the spitter enemy though.

I've been loving this game, playing it on the PS4 after James recommendation. One thing is killing me however: there is a persistent glitch in the game where consumable items like the recording tape, vials of morphine, and even ammunition, change number, and don't record when you get more. I was holding on to one recording tape, not saving deliberately so that I had one in store until I found another one, and then I went in the sewing room on the second floor, and saw a new recording tape. I was excited, because now I would have two, and I would feel safe using one, but before I even used one, I noticed it in my inventory after collecting the new one, I still only had one! I didn't understand what it happened, so I restored my save, came back to the room, still holding my one, and when I got the new recording tape in the sewing room, I suddenly had three! Looking around online, I've noticed that this glitch seems to be happening to people regardless of what version of the game they're playing, ps4, ps5, switch, and pc. The developers need to patch this ASAP, because the game is difficult enough, without not registering the items you collect. I'm loving the game otherwise, but this is a HUGE problem that's hard to overlook.

The voice acting is distractingly awkward even though the story is interesting and very creepy, the level design is surprisingly gorgeous even though the overall visuals are unpolished, and the gameplay is stellar! The "baroque painting" shown in the clip at 4:48 is a pre-romantic painting by Swiss artist Henry Fuessli, the Nightmare, depicting an imp perched on the belly of a nude woman while a black horse (the night mare in question) peaks through a curtain. It's a seminal image that has been referenced and parodied everywhere.

I've discovered this game by pure randomess back when the closed beta started, I wasn't able to get a beta code but when the final game dropped I played this game with my brother and my friends nonstop until we beat it. It's really good and I hope the devs try a RE style game with pre-rendered backgrounds as well.

Man I'm glad Nitro Rad covered this special Gem, there's also a whole slew of Indie Games that are Throwback Horror Games that our Radical man could cover like Back in 1995 a Horror game that's heavily influenced by the first Silent Hill game, also Dawn of Fear a buggy but fun horror that fuses classic Resident Evil with some Alone in the Dark/Silent Hill elements, along with other Horror titles that I missed, definitely worth a look.

Have you heard of the game Alisa by Casper Croes? It's a survival horror game inspired by the original Resident Evil, complete with fixed cameras, tank controls, slightly awkward voice acting and PS1 aesthetics. With you talking so much about the classic survival horror style in this video, I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on Alisa.
