I also LOOOOVE that zinnia w the green popping out of the pink?!! THAT IS AWESOME!!! So yeah, I'll be needing a bunch of those too. So that's 3 bouquets for me. I'm sure it won't be a problem for you to drop them down to Central Texas either, right? You know, on your way into town... Ha! Just kidding!!! I can dream tho can't I ?!! I enjoyed seeing all the different flowers in this video! Let's do this more often! Thanks for the flower break today! ♡ Ciao Doll ♡♡♡

Love seeing how you put together these bouquets. I'm challenged in 'arranging' so watching your vlog is very helpful. Love that lemon sunflower -- gorgeous. :) LOL when you described your son's typical response. My boys are late twenties and I still get the 'may be' shrugged shoulders. lol One of them lives in UK; makes me laugh when we're 'whatsapp'ng and he does the shrugged shoulder / may be response. Some things never change; even when they're married living 1000's miles away. lol Loved the Booneville Fair display What a labor of love by Carl.

Where do you order your glads from? They are so lovely. I saw you mention on another video that you get around 500 corms for $75 but I didn’t catch where you order them from.
@FlowerHillFarm4 жыл бұрын
I order from Fred Nagel and Sons. I actually get the larger corm size which is $85 for 500. There is a $75 option.

Love your channel. After many years of gardening with mostly perennials and shrubs I finally started to start annuals from seed. Your information is so helpful. I was also inspired by Cool Flowers this past winter and was pleasantly surprised with my annuals. Just want to know though why do you leave so much space between your beds (peonies, dahlias).
@FlowerHillFarm4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Well, one of the spaces is required because that is where the electric goes from the road to the house underground and I can't dig near it. The other rows were at insistence of my husband to leave it wide enough for his riding mower to go in between. The spaces will be much narrower next year!

Can you tell me a little bit more about your water tanks? Will you have to leave them on that trailer the entire season? I have rain barrels off my barn and home, and most the time it's enough. But in the summer if we go a week or more without rain, then I run out of water. I mostly have perennials and shrubs. I do cut annuals and many planters all around the porch and yard. I was thinking about getting one or two more rain barrels, but if I start selling cut flowers, I am sure I will need something like you have. Do you have a video about it or tell me how it's working for you? Thanks! Love your channel. You & I are so much alike! Glad to know I am not the only crazy flower lady. Hahahaha

Just found your channel and I love it! Im living vicariously through you :D. I know this is an old video and its going to take me a while to get through them all but have you considered snipping up the covers on the IBC tanks and then velcroing them so you can easily see the water levels? You've probably already done something similar in later videos but just in case you haven't....................

Do you grow sunflowers that just produce one solid big bloom or the type that branches out and produces a bunch on one stem? I have the branching currently but they have flimsy little steps when they branch and I’m wondering if I’ll get stronger flowers if I plant the other kind.
@jin83394 жыл бұрын
Have you figured out the name of that yellow sunflower ? I love that 🌻🌻🌻 What type is that reddish sunflower called ? I have not ordered sunflowers yet. I was so happy to order zinnias, snap dragons, bachelor buttons and others. So, I left sunflowers, dahlias and gladiolus next. Having issues with last 2 Bec most of them are sold out . I still got Spring hopefully I get some.

@FlowerHillFarm4 жыл бұрын
They typically only have one bloom stalk. Occasionally they will grow. Second much smaller stem. You can make your own with sugar! There are a lot of different recipes online.
