They both good dudes in real life. These guys obviously connected once they met. It doesn’t always have to be some Barbara walters interrogation. I never met rich but I watched so many videos for years. Felt like i knew him. The loss was tough. I can’t imagine how his family felt. I’m just a guy online that got to know him through videos. He was so honest and helped people understand the downsides of steroids.

Guy has a great attitude in life. It's interesting to see him not over glorify sport that has been his life by acknowledging the dangers to prospective bodybuilders. His response to waking up in Tosh's body also really showed his positive nature. He didn't even flinch, just immediately thinks "in a small body I could run"

I read his autopsy. Nobody knows exactly what killed him. It wasn't a heart attack per se, i.e. caused by atherosclerosis (his coronary arteries were in surprisingly good shape). However he had an enlarged heart, and because of its size the electrical activity was probably abnormal, and he had an arrhythmia.

I like that he has the balls to admit he takes steroids, unlike all the others like him on social media. He also actively discourages people from going down the same path and talks about how unhealthy it is to be that big, steroids or not. Sad he passed away too, R.I.P. Rich

@yhootoob Dumbass, Jason Genova was close to goddamn 30 when that happened, not 10. Not just that but Genova was the first instigator and karma caught up to him. His disability doesn't excuse his actions. Not just that, his wife abused HIM, she was a merciless gold digger. Your levels of misinformation to slander Piana is beyond astounding. Piana's no saint but he sure as hell aint no bully. He was just as real as it gets.

Damn shame but I hope both he and Steve Irwin are in a good place. They'll certainly be remembered for a long time down here, that's for sure.

Rich seemed like a real honest nice guy. I’ve watched him for years and he really had a way more humbling attitude than a lot of celeb Body builders and he was actually approachable when a lot of them could give two shits about about someone they randomly encounter. Respect for this man always RIP.

It was insulin that killed him he fell into a diabetic coma during a haircut because he didn’t have enough carbs in his system to counteract the insulin. It’s a bodybuilders worst nightmare really.

I dont know in his private life....but on social, Rich was very educated, polite and respecfull it was very hard to dislike him. I worked at 4 conventions he was and the dude was one of the few educated, polite down to earth fitness personalities on those shows.

Well it would only be logical, because as a drug addict you would know all the dangers and messed up situations you got into because of drugs, so you would easily have the knowledge to tell someone why they should stay away from it

Usually Tosh.0 makes most of their guests look like complete weird-o’s during their CeWEBrity Profiles, but they were unable to show that about Rich. Rich seems like a bright guy and I feel Tosh.0/ Comedy Central wasn’t able to make fun of their guest as usual. Rich knows what people think about him and he seems super genuine. Can’t believe I am just seeing this now!

@RyanJL337 Hang in there man what you're doing takes strength to get out of that hole. Rich Piana is on YT, he did everything from info vids on money/health/mentality, to workout vids like his feeder workouts or 8hr arms. Its cool stuff and he pushed the limits.

How is that useless information for someone who is going into those deep waters with minimal first hand knowledge? Have you ever even seen any of his videos? He talks steroids, money-making, food, and some other entertaining content. I understand his negatives but he had positives too.
